With the help of my sister (of preparing the squid and vegetables), I made a Korean dish, ....umm.... I don't know what it's called, so I'm gonna call it Spicy Squid.

Yeah I can cook. If you sacrifice your knowing knowing the basics of cooking (mincing, dicing, frying, microwaving, blending, egg making), then it's simple to cook these dishes. I mean, I managed to make Pad Thai because of those skills (see Personal Stuff 1.)

Anyways, I'm not sure if you're gonna find red paste at Walmart, so it's best to find them at an Asian Supermarket.

What's good about an Asian Supermarket?

Well.... If you're making Asian food, all the ingredients are there; the pho noodles, every single kind of meat, quail egg, vegetables, etc. You can even find household items in there as well, like knives, bowls, a burner-

Yep. A burner along with the butane fuel that is needed, in case if you want to make lẩu. (Hot pot)
drowned-ptt can relate with the hot pot stuff (plus the Asian store, I hope.)

Oh yeah, the best part of the Asian stores:

SNACKS. I remember as a kid getting pocky, hello panda, or yan yan. I think I got yan yan a lot. I would usually get my Koh-Kae shrimp flavored peanuts, but I don't know why they've stopped selling them in markets.

I think my favorite snack are the Koh-Kae peanuts.

I also get the Tao Kae Noi seaweed, mainly the spicy flavored ones

This one is good. The chocolate looks like plastic, but it's actually chocolate.

What I love about Asian stores is the fact that they have Pocky flavors that American (or any Western) store has. I had a Brazilian Orange flavored pocky before. Now that I think about it, when was the last time I ate pocky at all?

Ramune. Such an interesting taste.

Oh yeah they also have Ramen. You see, Maruchan, Top Ramen, those Cup Noodles are BS.

There exists ramen that are cheaper and taste better than those in retail. I personally like Shin Ramen the most. The Samyang Spicy chicken ramen is also there, plus their 2x spicyness counterpart as well.

The 2x one is the red one.

Asian stores have bizzare snacks from Japan as well

Asian stores have bizzare snacks from Japan as well. I remember finding a Pokemon lollipop with pop rocks included.

I bought it btw.
