I already talked about this in a previous chapter, but it's worth doing it again.
You know what's good about being Asian/Viet? The fact that your Asian parents go to the Asian Supermarket to get all the produce they need.
They have the usual stuff that Western markets would have, but also the produce that the East grows, like Jackfruit and Longan. Lychee as well.
I live near 4 ASIAN STORES! Yeah. FOUR. Ain't that exciting when you live more than like, 19 BILLION of them :/
I usually call them the Viet market because it has Viet products as well and it's Asian and better saying than Chinese store or Asian store.
But obviously, the most exciting part of an Asian Supermarket is....
Rice. Medium grain is the best. Nah I'm just kidding.
It's the snacks. Back then I would go for Yan-Yan, then shrimp flavored peanut crackers, then pocky, but now I go for the Hello Panda. The strawberry and yogurt ones are my favorite, but I chose Green Tea because why not?
Snacks like these last 10 minutes because I eat all of them in the car.
Pocky, Dried Squid, Seaweed, Peanut Crackers, Wafers, and other snacks I can't think on top of my mind can last from a day to a few weeks.
The mochi ice cream from the Viet store tastes AMAZING!!!! Go try it. Plus the ice bars. They good. Also the custard buns. And the wafer cylinder thingies.
Oh yeah, Pocky in Asian stores are the best because they are the full size packages and come in many different flavors, even limited edition ones! Walmart sucks because the pocky boxes are half the amount of the actual box. Plus Walmart pocky is more expensive than the ones from the Asian store.
Ramen is also popular. My main is Shin Ramyun (I can't believe I was eating Korean Ramen!) because the quality is good and it's the right amount of spicyness.
I got this one. Samyang ramen is great, even though it is super spicy. I had the 2x spicy before and I recorded it on video. I'll upload that (CRINGY vid) in the future. I used half of the packet then the other half halfway.
I usually get the Grass Jelly Drink because it's been in my taste buds ever since I was really young.
oh yeah the same place where I got the green tea Hello Panda and Jelly drink I found a shit ton of Popin Cookin Sushi candy. FOR FIVE BUCKS A PIECE!!!! THAT'S SO CHEAP!!!! You can get it at Epcot as well, but this is a true bargain.

YoungStraightWe Gaijins love Japanese food based candy, because they look and taste amazing-
Actually they taste kinda horrible, mainly because my sister and I fail to follow the directions right. This is our third sushi candy now.
Candy seaweed tastes like grape. Weird.
UPDATE: After eating that again, I concluded that I will never buy Sushi Candy again.
I realized that it was Grape and Soda flavor. The soda being Ramune.
