My top 7 E3 Presentations

8 1 1

So EA, Xbox, Bethesda, Square Enix, Ubisoft, Sony, and Nintendo presented their games at E3. All but Nintendo presented before it actually started.

So let's rank the 7 E3 presentations. Note that they're in my own opinion, so there will be very biased opinions.

7. EA: No doubt about it, EA had the most cringiest presentation ever. Not Sony 2006 Presentation, but just, weird... the only good thing we got was a trailer for Anthem. Everything else just seemed unappealing, including Fifa 19. Evidence why you shouldn't buy a new sports game.

6. Ubisoft: Sure we got Assassin's Creed and the division, but really, that's all we got. Trials was cringy, I liked the Grant Kirkhope and Miyamoto appearance, but that's really for the Nintendo fans. For Honor had a Chinese faction and that's cool. But overall, this doesn't feel really energetic. But a bit more energetic than EA.

5. Square Enix: No Final Fantasy 7? That sucks. But you know what doesn't? The fact that they did a video presentation. Compared to the previous 2, it's not cringy and dumb. The downside? Most of the games shown were ones that we already knew were coming.

4. Bethesda: So it's Xbox's presentation, but sorta low budget. It does have some horrible insights (like that Andrew WK moment) but does have some lighthearted moments, like the Skyrim Special Edition. It's number 4 because it's Todd Howard.

3. Sony: First party presentations are really hard to rank, because they are really good, even if there is no console to appear. Sony would be number two on the list if they only did their presentation strategy right. The first scene takes place in a Church tent, which presented the first game, The Last of Us 2. That's cool and all, but it then dragged along to this awkward moment where they had to transition to the actual room where the games will be presented. That.... made it the reason why it's number 3 on the list. The transition between different buildings. The games presented were the actual good games, and we got good gameplay, but something made me feel that there wasn't enough. Like the fact that Final Fantasy 7 remake never appeared. Better wait until 2089 for an announcement.

2. Xbox: Xbox's presentation. While a bit awkward, their presentation was actually straightforward. We were told that 50 games were presented, and 50 games were presented. Including Halo Infinite and Cyberpunk 2077. I liked the atmosphere of the convention. It's green and uniform. We even got our sneak peek of Fallout 76 by Todd Howard himself!

1. Nintendo: Ok, I believe that Nintendo won E3, mainly because of Smash and Reggie. We didn't get a new Animal Crossing or F-Zero game, but we DID get a new Fire Emblem game announced. That was cool. Nintendo is going towards Indie titles and I like their strategy with that. But Smash was the main reason why it's number one.

Welp, you have a different list, feel free to talk about it here! No grudges will be taken.
