GODDAMN IT! I guess it's time for me to watch this anime!
I heard about Guyver when I watched a scene on youtube.
Apparently the artist who sang it is Shinichi Ishihara, famously known for his Tokusatsu opening themes of Kamen Rider Agito, GoGo V, and Juukou B-Fighter (Beetleborgs).
The main riff sounds like something from Kamen Rider Black's opening. I had to loop the fucking song multiple times in order to get the feel.
The theme feels like that's the main anthem for badass and kickass heroes like Guyver and Kenshiro and 80's-early 90's toku heroes like Black and Gavan. Now that I think about it, Shin, ZO, and J would fit from this as well, though Shin would sorta fit.
Definitely fits as a City Pop-esque song. Use this song on a highway drive at night and it'll feel like nostalgia.
So uhhh. yeah. violence causes armor to form.
