You know, playing stepmania allows you to witness new music that you have never heard in your life.
For example, J-Trance.
I've listened to a bit of trance before, but wow. Listening to the same sequence for like 5-6 minutes is really different.
The very first song I listened to from him is Focus Shift. Really uplifting. My ears and mind couldn't believe how great this was.
The BPM is perfect, instruments sound great, and the build up is really nice!

Although they might sound the same, trance songs have a different personality, so don't underestimate the trance genre!
