So it's my seventh time making mochi ice cream. This time, I got som exotic flavors when I went to Nations Food Market.
Canadians will know what Nations Market is, because that's where I'm at now. Canada.
So I chose mango and green tea as my mochi of choice, and decided to make it a twist and color the usual white mochi. It looks amazing as you see here. The Green tea one was colored with actual matcha powder while the mango one was red and yellow food coloring.
I made the mango mochi slightly too thick when I rolled it, so it had a bit of resistance in the bite. But it's not bad. The Green Tea on the other hand was perfect and it had the right amount of rolling, so it was really chewy as a result.
And here's the finished product! You know, iPhone 6 cameras still work as actual high quality cameras. The close up shots look amazing as fuuuuuu~~~
Here's a top view. I should've zoomed in a tad but more.
Cutting it: It just slides like butter.
Here's the mochi cut in half. LOOKS AMAZING!!!!
The mango ice cream tastes a bit weird; not the usual mango ice cream I taste.
The Green Tea on the other hand IS AMAZING!!!! You see, Green tea mochi is my favorite, and this definitely had a similar quality to the packaged ones. I'm proud of myself XD
