I wanted to leave the room now. So I got up and started walking towards the door when he stopped me again by holding my forearm and turned me to face him. He drew me closer to himself. I was only a few inches away from him. This time I did not close my eyes. I was searching for something in his eyes maybe answers to my confusions or maybe for positivity for my negative thoughts. But then I had to close my eyes when he gave me a lingering kiss on my forehead. Then released me and said. “ Why don't you change your dress and be comfortable. It's late now maybe the guests have already left.”

“ Thank you. I think we should also leave now. I will change my dress at home, I did not bought any spare clothes with me.” I told him and again started walking towards the door. But again he stopped me but this time he was holding me closer. His hands on my bare waist. I was trying to breath in such proximity and his breathing was ragged.

“ I have your new wardrobe ready. I bought you some clothes and other accessories. Why don't you have a look at them too. This dress of yours is killing me.” He sounded like someone in haze. I started squirming in his arms. This was way far from my comfort level. Right then there was a knock at the door which brought us both to reality. And I moved away from him towards the door to open it.

I had to calm my breathing and also I was sure my cheeks were red. But I don't want anyone to see me like this.

I opened the door and Nandini Aunty came inside. “ So I hope you liked the room.” She asked and I smiled politely trying my level best to be calm from earlier happenings.

I wanted to go to my mom now. I still have to register everything that's happening. “ I should leave now.” I asked them but Nandini Aunty stopped me.

“ If you don't mind Samaira wants to talk to you. She is my daughter who lives in US and was not able to attend the engagement today.” She asked me politely. I didn't knew about her. But I really hope that she is not like my father's sisters. Who ruined my mother's life.

" She was camping and did not had signal otherwise I would have made you talk to her earlier."  Nandini Aunty cleared the confusion.

" Samaira is my elder daughter. She is married and have two sons." She smiled and I smiled in return.

" I don't mind at all. Is she on phone right now?" I asked her while praying that she should not be like my father's sisters. I don't want to repeat my mother's life.

There is a saying that, 'Once hurt, one is doubly cautious in the future.'

" No she is not on phone right now because there is sometimes signal problem where she is camping so she asked me that can she call you later." Nandini Aunty told me.

" Yes definitely she can call me." I informed her.
