As the saying goes that grass is always greener on other side. Many people misunderstand that the person in front of them has the most perfect life, the life they wish they had but if you really put yourself in their shoes you will realize the most important lesson of life that only you can make your life perfect. God never burdens the person beyond his scopes. You just have to learn to accept whatever life throws at you.
Radhika's POV
As I was waiting for Samaira and Nandini Aunty I cleaned the house and kitchen. I realized Aman and Ayaan's toys we're messed around. The kitchen was too much messed and doesn't seem that only breakfast was prepared in the kitchen. Maybe Samaira and Nandini Aunty were awake last night.
I was not sure whether I should prepare for lunch or were we eating at Nandini's Aunty's place. So I just decided to knead the dough and cut the veggies and put them in their respective containers.
It was 10 am now and still no sign of Nandini Aunty or Samaira. But Aman and Ayaan came. Ayaan was still shy around me but Aman was more friendly. Well this was a good distraction. I helped them brush and prepared some instant mix pancakes. As I don't have much idea especially for Ayaan if he is eating solids. But all went well they ate the pancakes without fuss and I changed Ayaan's diaper. I switched on the TV for them and sat their with my phone. I was thinking to talk to my mom.
" Hello Mom, Good morning."
" Hello Radhika. How are you?"
" I am good what about you how are you liking there. I miss you."
" I miss you too. Everything's good here. Ridhima is very happy. I have never seen her this happy after her marriage. I used to think did I made a mistake to marry her off to Jay. And asking her to have patience. But I am so relieved to see her now."
" That's really good. I didn't knew that the person always saying to have patience was actually thinking that they maybe wrong. " I teased my mom.
" I know Radhika. But I feel if I did not had patience your dad and I would have been together today. I should have fought with him and fought for him. I should have not shown patience. But still I would tell you have patience but don't give up without fight."
" I know mom don't worry I am not going to repeat your and Ridhima's mistake."
" That's good to hear. So how's everything going? Were you able to adjust to your new life?"
" Everything's going really good. Arjun is really good. I am just observing others still. Well mom I will hang up now I will call you later."
" Ok take care bye."
" You too, bye."
It was was around 10:30 am now. Still no sign of Samaira or Nandini Aunty. Aman and Ayaan started playing with their toys so I switched off the TV.
It was 11:30 am now so I thought I would start preparing lunch. And gave some fruits cutted in small cubes to Aman and Ayaan.
At around 12 did Samaira came out. She looked tired.
" Good morning. Everything's good?" I asked Samaira. I haven't seen her like this before.
