Wrong Decisions to Right Paths

Chapter 20

After I got ready Arjun came and we together went to the reception. I really liked the theme and the arrangements.

Arjun and I went to meet all the guests. The more specific were the three of the guests. Arjun seemed very fond of them. Sanjay, Rohan and Gayatri. The three of them were siblings as well as married. Arjun said they were his ex-neighbors.

" Radhika these three in front of you are my mentors and support. And you will love them." Arjun said with such happiness that I knew that they were very important in his life. I smiled at them.

" Most importantly you will love Arjun. He is like our youngest sibling." Gayatri said who was the eldest of the three.

They started talking about how Arjun used to hate school and how he would hide in their home to skip tuitions. I felt at ease talking to them.

Then we met Mr. William who was the person whom Arjun started the business first. He was a nice person and had a beautiful pregnant wife Claudia who was from Columbia.

Claudia was a very friendly person and we clicked right away. And we decided to meet some other time.

Then Nandini Aunty came and asked Arjun that she wants me meet some of her guests so I left with her. And Arjun became busy with his collegues.

" I want you to meet our family friend Nisha and her daughter Neha. And Nisha this is my daughter in law Radhika." Nandini Aunty said gesturing towards her friend.

" Hi Radhika, so nice to meet you." Nisha Aunty said and hugged me.

" Nice to meet you." Neha said with a smile. She did not talk much and I realized she was not much of a talker. But she was gorgeous with light hazel eyes. She was much shorter than me compared to my 5' 8" height. Maybe around 5' feet.

But Nisha Aunty was very friendly with me. She said how she had known Nandini Aunty since they were in college.

Then Samaira came and introduced me to her husband Neil. I haven't met him before as he came this morning. I could see they were such a lovely couple. I could see the love they held for each other. Their sons were adorable. The elder one Aman was four year old and younger one Ayaan was just nine months old.

Later Arjun came and we had dinner and guests started leaving.

Riddhima and Samaira came. They escorted me back to our suite.

Arjuns's pov

I stayed back for a while to give the tips to the waiters and clearing the tables. The guests already left. Only Radhika's mom and dad were there. Later Neil and Jay came with their kids Pari, Aman and Ayaan.

" We have to go back tomorrow and I was planning to take Riddhima's parents with us." Jay asked me with Pari in his arms who was sleepy and was trying to sleep on his shoulder. She was an adorable girl.

" But I was planning to take you all for a tour of Chicago." I told him. In the preparation of the wedding and my business I was unable to give them time much.

" Arjun I am sorry but you know right I started this job just few months back and I cannot take a big leave still. Hope you understand that. But we can surely go some other time." Jay said to which I agreed.

" I understand." I replied.

" Ok we will take a leave now." Radhika's mom said.

Everyone left only Neil was left with a sleeping Ayaan in his arms and Aman standing close by sucking his thumb.

" I should take a leave now too. The kids are really sleepy. We will be staying here for a week. Samaira really missed you guys. Ok then take care and congratulations once again." Neil left with the kids.
