Chapter 25

A/N I am sorry for not updating for so long. Had some personal problems. This update will be a short one and I will try to update the longer one next time. Hope you enjoy. And thanks for waiting patiently.

Radhika's POV

After a beautiful dinner and cuddled sleep, I woke up to find myself alone on bed. Oh my god! I slept late. I should have kept an alarm. Did Arjun went to work. These were running in my mind but when I saw it was only six in the morning I felt a little relieved but where was Arjun?

I quickly brushed my teeth and headed outside the room to find Nandini Aunty serving breakfast to Arjun. And Arjun was in his work clothes which meant he was going for work.

I slowly approached them and heard them talking about random things.

" Good morning!" I said to Arjun and Nandini Aunty.

" Good morning!" Both of them said together.

" Come Radhika have some breakfast. I was thinking as Arjun is going to work why don't you come with me and Samaira to my house. I have to see how much work is left and from there we can go somewhere and enjoy ourselves." Nandini Aunty said with such enthusiasm. I had to agree with her.

" So Arjun will this be your regular time to leave every day?" I asked Arjun, I had to make sure that I am awake when he goes to work.

" I was not supposed to go today but unexpected things came so I have to go. I usually leave at six but today I am going a little late because I was expecting to meet you before I leave for work." He said with a wink which made an involuntary blush to appear on my cheeks.

" So when will you be back?" I asked Arjun.

" I will come as soon as I finish this work and I will come directly to Mom's place or wherever you gals are." Arjun answered.

" Radhika you eat your breakfast. Me and Samaira will eat afterwards. And get ready after that. I just want to lay down for few minutes until Samaira and kids wake up. " Nandini Aunty said then went to her room.

" I am going to miss you Radhika. And why don't you plan something for tonight. And I am sorry to leave you alone when I should be spending time with you." Arjun said with a sad tone.

" It's ok Arjun. Whatever you did is more than enough for me. Thank you!"

Arjun leaned and gave me a brief kiss before leaving for work.

Is life this simple or is it the calm before the storm. I know I should not be thinking so badly but I can't help it. I definitely know no one's life is perfect and I am no exception. I am lucky to have Arjun with me but this nagging feeling may take some time to leave me.

I ate the breakfast and then went inside to take bath and get ready for the day.

Arjun's POV

I woke up in the morning to see Radhika sleeping snuggled to me. How can anyone be so beautiful while sleeping I am so lucky to have Radhika. I woke up to the vibration of my phone. So I slowly moved from bed and went outside to attend the call.

Jack my assistant called me to let me know about some paperwork that needs to be reviewed and finalized today itself. I did not wanted to leave but work was also important for our future.

So I decided to get ready without disturbing Radhika so she does not wake up. She must be tired from all the marriage rituals and new life away from her family.

When I came outside I saw mom preparing breakfast.

" Good morning Arjun. Where is Radhika?" Mom asked me and I said that I want her to sleep some more.

" It's ok I am here today but tomorrow I won't be here. She needs to be awake before you and look after your needs." She started again. I don't know why mom is behaving such. Maybe it's new for her too. Before it was me and Mom only but Radhika is also here now.

By time I know both of them will get used to each other.

" Mom I know and thank you for the breakfast. Let her take rest. And what are your plans for today?" I said changing the topic.

" I wanted to see if the plumbing work is done or not. And I am planning as Samaira is here, I want to take her to meet my friends and Radhika will also get an opportunity to make friends there. Or if Samaira had planned something else then I may follow Samaira." Mom said.

" Ok that sounds good. I will try to come early but cannot guarantee." I said, as I didn't knew how much time it will take to review the documents.

Then we hear Radhika coming towards us.
