Wrong Decisions to Right Paths

After discussing about Samaira. Nandini Aunty left and I started following her outside. Arjun also came behind me to escort me outside. I can feel that he does not want me to go but I cannot stay here.

" Mom I was thinking...." Arjun started talking but Nandini Aunty stopped him mid-sentence.

" Arjun why don't you go and bring the gifts I bought for Radhika. It's in my room. And I know what you are thinking." She winked while saying that. And took hold of my hand and we both went downstairs to where my mom and sister were.

I was surprised that still some guests were present. My father was also there smiling at me. I guess he came late.

" Radhika congratulations. I hope you get all the happiness of life." My father gave me a hug. I am happy that at least he was able to make it here. I was not expecting him because if expectations are not met then it hurts.

" Thank you Dad." I replied with genuine smile.

Arjun came back with the gifts and kept them on the table beside us. Nandini Aunty came towards me and handed them to me.

" I was wondering if you all can come this Sunday to our farm house. It's on the countryside. It will be a good opportunity to get to know each other more." She asked my mom.

" That's a nice idea. What about you Riddhima will you be able to come too?" My mom asked Riddhima.

" I would love to but I have to make sure with Jay. What do you think Jay? Or do you have any other plans?" She asked my brother in law Jay.

" No problem here too. We can make to the farm house." Jay responded with smile.

So everyone were getting excited for the trip. I am excited too. I will try my level best to leave my negative thoughts at home that day. But I hope it will stay at home.

" If you all don't mind can I also join. I will get a chance to spend sometime with my daughters as well." My father asked hopefully. I can never understand him. In the first place he leaves us and marry other woman. Then he says that he loves my mother. He wants to spend time with us. But still he is physically absent from our lives and happy with his wife and three sons.

" Yes you are also invited of course. Arjun will get back to you all with traveling arrangements. I hope you all will enjoy. On a side note please wear pants with high boots girls no Indian wear. There are lot of activities to enjoy there." Nandini Aunty beamed at us.

I really hope that this is not a dream and whatever is happening is not my illusion. I turned my gaze towards Arjun and saw him staring at me. I am not person to get nervous in everything but Arjun knows how to make me nervous.

" I will arrange for a bus and we all can meet here in our house. How does that sound?" Arjun asked when he stopped staring at me.

" Sounds good!" Everyone said in unison.
