Error wakes up and smiles a bit. It's the 4th of April, the only day he actually enjoys. His birthday, of course!

He comes downstairs smiling slightly and takes out his phone to text his brother Geno. Geno has already messaged him, right at 12:00, telling him happy birthday.

Error laughs and smiles more. He calls Geno and they talk on the phone a bit.

Nightmare comes down with his jammies in his passive form. Something wasn't right about today, especially since he just saw Error skipping down the stairs with a slight smile.

He glares at Killer suspiciously, since normally, he seemed to know everything as to why and when someone was gonna feel a specific emotion.

"Killer, why is Error so happy?" Nightmare asked, making a cup of coffee. Killer looked at him and shrugged before going on his phone.

"Geez, everyone and their goddamn phones. I'm too old for this." Nightmare muttered to himself as Killer burst out laughing.

Nightmare walked over to Error, and Error soon put on a serious face. He wasn't talking to Geno on the phone anymore.

"What's gotten you so happy?" Nightmare asked. Error blushed and looked away. Error decided to lie on the spot, even though he's really bad at it.

"Just happy." Error shrugged. "Emotions are funny, amirite?" Nightmare glared at him for a couple of seconds before pinning him to the wall.

"Don't pull that crap outta your ass!" Nightmare hissed. "Why the fuck are you happy?!"

Error blushed horribly and glitched out a bit more than he already was. He didn't want to tell him, why would he be so happy about his birthday.

"L-look, it's n-none of your b-b-business." Error shrugged. "It's nothing threatening or to do with you at all."

Nightmare sighed and moved his arm. Killer screeched and ran to Dust and Horror, yelling "Ship" at them.

Horror Screeched with him while Dust was probably tired of their shit. Nightmare chuckled a bit and wondered why Killer was allowed on his team.

Nightmare sat at the table and drank his coffee. A million answers to his question floated around his head, making him want to know why he was so happy more.

Nightmare sighed and slammed his mug on the table angrily, he needed to know why Error was so happy now.

He paced the kitchen until Error came in. Nightmare came up to him and Error smiled a bit.

"I'm gonna make myself some coffee too." [420 reee] Error said. Nightmare glared at him and then smirked.

"Only if you tell me why you're so happy~" He purred. Error moved outta the way, blushing.

"I guess I won't have coffee then." He mumbled. Nightmare sighed in defeat and went back to his coffee.

He found it completely empty with a note beside it. He grumbled and picked up the note suspiciously.

"Meet me in the upstairs hallway and I'll tell you." Nightmare immediately put down the note and went to the upstairs hallway.

He couldn't find Error there so he went up to the next flight of stairs, to where his room and Error's room was.

Error was at the end of the hallway, just playing with a couple of puppets. They almost looked like him and Error.

Error blushed and hid the puppets behind him before standing up. Nightmare glared at him a bit.

"I'm so confused." Nightmare sighed. "Why are you so happy today instead of any other day?" Error chuckled a bit.

"It's my birthday!" He smiled. "I was gonna try and convince you to give me my birthday present."

Nightmare was confused until Error grabbed his cheeks and kissed him. Nightmare blushed madly but melted into it.

It was so weird but it almost felt.. natural, like it was meant to be. Error pulled away, but immediately got pulled into another kiss.

They kissed in the hallway for a while before looking away from each other, blushing madly. Nightmare smirked and turned back to him.

"You're pretty good at kissing for a glitch," Nightmare smirked. Error blushed veen more if that was even possible.

"I hate you.." Error muttered. "...But I love you."

Nightmare chuckled, and smiled. "I love you too."
