"Outer!" Outer was about to leave the anti-void for the day to go back to his AU. Outer turned around to face his loving husband of 2 years, Error. Error placed a sweet kiss on his cheek; a small "clank" could be heard from the quick peck. "I love you."
"I love you too baby." Outer chuckled. The smaller had always been the lovey-dovey one, even under his cruel exterior. The two shared a sweet, long hug together, none of them really wanting to let go. But eventually, Outer let go. Outer waved one more time, before he teleported away.

[ Five Days Later ]

Error was on one of his favourite chairs, a cushioned, dark blue one, watching a show he had recently found while browsing the multiverse. There was nothing much going on, and it was one of those rare moments of time where Error was finally at peace from the voices.
Not for long.
Error heard a knock on the door. Suspiciously, he desummoned his portal from where he was watching the show, and got up. No one, aside from Outer or Ink, dared to even knock on his door. He much rather it be the former, but at that moment, he wouldn't really mind Ink as long as he wasn't trying to start another fight.
Error? Did you destroy Outertale?" Error's eyes widened. Ink looked guiltily to Error as he watched the glitch start sobbing. Ink knew that touching him would make it worse, so he didn't bother. Error wiped his tears on his sleeves, but they still fell.
"Where is Outer Sans?!" Error asked, his panic was obvious; his voice was glitching much more than it probably should have been.
"He.. I had to re-make him..." Ink sighed. "I'm so sorry Error, I don't think he'll remember you."  Ink sat there, guilt washed over his being, as he watched his enemy cry over the death of his lover. Although he felt guilty, Ink was clueless as to why he still decided to cry.
"I-Is he in his AU?" Ink knew exactly what he meant by that
"Come on." Ink made a portal with his brush to the reconstructed Outertale. Almost immediately, the two saw Outer at his stand, casually sleeping on the job.
Error was almost too afraid to approach him. He didn't want to be faced with the reality that he probably didn't even remember him. Ink sighed a bit, and walked towards Outer. Error followed behind him.
"Heya Outer!" Ink nervously waved. Outer woke up, a bit startled, but his expression quickly changed into a lazy one.
"Heya Inky." Outer didn't even seem to notice that Error was even there. Error stepped up to tell Outer about him, but he was still very obviously nervous about it.
"Heya Outer, remember me?" Error said, smiling nervously. Outer raised his eyebrow, and shook his head.
"I'm sorry buddy, maybe you got me mixed up." Error felt his soul shatter into a million different pieces. Error nodded, and made a portal to his house.
Outer motioned for Ink to come closer. Ink stepped forward a few times and leaned over so Outer could whisper to him.
"What's up with him?" Outer asked, worriedly. "Is he alright?"
"Well," Ink sighed. "Before your AU got destroyed, you had been together with Error for a really long time." Outer gave Ink a look of shock.
"Oh no.." Outer mumbled. "I wish I could remember or comfort him, but I don't want to make anything harder for him.."
Ink sighed, and smiled sadly. "Eventually he'll get over it. You were the first person he's ever really trusted."

Error couldn't stop crying.
He didn't even feel like doing anything, nor even doing his "job." He was not ready for the fact that Nightmare or someone would destroy his favourite AU, or take his husband's life away.
Error just laid in his bed, sobbing hysterically at all the memories that were running through his head.
The wedding- hardly anyone showed up. It was just Swap, Ink, and Outer!Papyrus. No one else would really accept the fact that Outer would ever even think of marrying Error, the destroyer of AUs. But here they are, getting happily married. Error remembers it as one of the happiest days of his life. His favourite part was how nice the kiss felt as they were officially pronounced as husbands.
Soon after, Outer fell pregnant. 2 months before their baby and Outer's AU was gone, Error and Outer had fun on their honeymoon, which ended up making a child. Error was shocked, but Outer was extremely happy about it. Error was as well, but he worried for the child.
Error hugged his pillow, remembering their last moment as a couple. It ended in a loving, warm, peaceful, safe hug. And that's it, Error will never feel his lover's embrace again.
"We only need one destroyer in this universe, Error. I had warned you." Error gasped as he felt something penatrate his body, nearly killing him.
Error looked up to Nightmare, who had a sadistic and satisfied grin on his stupid, goopy face. Error growled at him, before coughing up some blood.
"Haha! I should've thought of this earlier! Your weak little friend was so helpless. And now you are too~" Error could hardly hear Nightmare's taunts, his ears were ringing too loudly for him to hear much of anything at that point.
"Well, say goodbye to your dear lover, because he won't be seeing you any time soon~" Nightmare hummed, as if it was a sick joke.
"I love you Outer.." Error muttered, before he coughed up more blood. A tentacle raced through his chest, breaking his soul instantly. Error's coughing and crying soon ceased after that.

"I hope I can meet you again, Error." Outer muttered as he laid in his bed. "I'd love to fall in love with you again."
