Ink comes home with his goopy boyfriend playing a board game with his tentacles. Not the weirdest thing he's come home to, but it made him laugh a little.

Nightmare blushed a bit and went over to Ink to kiss him. "Hi, Inky," He greeted. "What do you have in those cages?"

Ink blushed and hummed. "You see, they were really cute.. and they needed a home..."

Nightmare sighed. "You got a couple of pets, didn't you?" Ink nodded and looked away slightly. Nightmare frowned.

Ink handed him a cage. It was pretty big, maybe 90 cm. Nightmare opened it, and he was immediately attacked by a large dog.

Ink giggled and cuddled a small Pembroke Welsh Corgi. "I thought you might want a pet to keep you company while I'm away."

Nightmare laughed a bit as the dog on top of him licked his cheek. Ink smiled and kneeled over to the dog.

"That one's a Bernese mountain dog." Ink said. "She's a smart one." Nightmare sat up and pet the dog.

"You know your dog will probably need a lot of attention, right?" Nightmare asked. Ink nodded and smiled.

"Don't worry, I can take him around with me!" Ink said proudly. "Kids absolutely love dogs! Especially small ones."

Nightmare smiled a bit, as he summoned a small bone for the dog. He tossed it, and they both ran to try and get it.

Nightmare went over to Ink and kissed him on the cheek. Ink giggled and blushed a bit, standing up,

"Well, I gotta go get some things for the girls, wanna tag along?" Ink asked. Nightmare nodded, and went to his passive form.

Ink hummed a tune, then gasped slightly. Nightmare looked over worriedly while Ink sweat nervously.

"Uhh, I kinda forgot the kids at Error's..." Ink muttered. Nightmare grabbed Ink and they teleported to Error's.

There, they stepped in to see Error freaking out in the corner, Dream trying to break free of Luna's tentacles, while Blue and Nova giggle in the background, eating popcorn.

"Luna, put Uncle Dream down. Now." Nightmare demanded firmly. Luna groaned and put Dream down, Dream running over to help his boyfriend.

Luna went over and hugged Ink innocently. "Hey momma, Why'd you come so late?" Luna asked. Blue sent Nova off to join them.

"Well, I may or may not have a couple of new family members in the house.." Ink nervously giggled out.

"You gave birth again?" Luna asked. Nova shot her a "wtf" look as Nightmare and Blue broke out laughing.

"No!" Ink laughed slightly. "I got some dogs." Luna looked slightly disappointed while Nova smiled happily.

"Oh for FUNKS sakes!" Error yelled. Nightmare chuckled a bit and Dream and Blue automatically shot each other a "hell yeah!" Look.

Ink grabbed Nova and Luna's hands, and said bye. They all went out to he pet shop to get some necessities for the pets.

[Time skip]

As soon as they got home, the two dogs came barking and ran up to the family of four.

Luna screeched and hid behind Nova. Luna would never admit it, but she was afraid of dogs. Nova, on the other hand, loved dogs.

"I want the big one!" Nova called. Jumping onto it and hugging it. The dog barked at Nova, but calmed down.

Luna hid behind Ink as the smol Corgi went up to her. The corgi sensed her anxiety, and whimpered, almost apologetically.

Ink picked up the Corgi and held it in his arms to show Luna. Luna looked over at her, and then Ink.

"W-what's her name?" Luna asked. Ink hummed for a couple of seconds, then smiled at Luna cheerfully.

"Why don't you name her?" Ink asked. Luna took the corgi from Ink and hummed for a bit, but got a good idea.

"Let's name her Cream!" Luna decided. Ink smiled, and patted Luna on the head happily. Cream softly, yet happily borked.

"It's already 10, time for bed you two." Nightmare called. He had just finished the food bowls in the kitchen and litter.

"Noooo..." Nova whined, but went up to bed anyway. He and Luna shared a bunk bed, and Nova was on the top.

Luna gave Cream back to Ink, and went up to bed. Before Nova went to bed, he called to Nightmare "tell Scruffles I love him!"

Nightmare chuckled a bit, and told the large dog that Nova loved him. Ink picked up some bags for the dog beds.

Nightmare smiled and pet Scruffles as Ink later the two beds beside each other. After a long day, Cream and Scruffles where happy to rest.

Ink cuddled up to Nightmare and grabbed the remote. Nightmare smiled and wrapped his arms around Ink.

"Wanna watch something?" Ink asked? Nightmare smiled, and shook his head a bit. Ink gave him a slightly confused look.

"It's been a while where we just lay here a talk while cuddling, y'know?" Nightmare asked. Ink giggled slightly and nodded.

"Fine." Ink said, smiling as he buried his head under Nightmare's skull. They're always so busy that they don't have a lot of time to relax.

They spent the Night cuddling on the couch, and talking together until they eventually passed out together.
