Horror sighed, grabbing his axe and throwing it at the target in his room. Killer was with Error and Cross so he couldn't bother them, and Nightmare was keeping an eye on his brother.
Horror smirked to himself as he realized Dust and him where alone together. Maybe this was the day he'd confess his love to the cold hearted murderer.
Horror grabbed his axe, and made his way down the stairs to see what Dust was doing. Dust was just sleeping in the kitchen, a lukewarm cup of heated blueberry jam sat in a mug beside him.
Horror blushed a bit, but was honestly disturbed by the whole "heating up then drinking jam" kind of thing he was doing.

"What the fuck are you drinking?" Horror asked, and Dust blushed a bit.
"Jam, shut the fuck up." Dust mumbled, pulling the jam closer to his chest. But Horror was more interested in his flustered face. His expression was still cold, but he had an unfamiliar purple colour *dust*ed over his face. His eyes held a glint of embarrassment.
Horror sat down beside him, and got a little closer to him, hoping to see him blush more. Dust did, moving away in his chair slightly.
"Can I try?" Horror asked.
"Sure." He mumbled, sliding the cup over to Horror. Horror took a deep breath in, like he was getting ready to taste the drink, and took a sip out of the cup.
"What the fuck." Horror muttered in pure shock. "It's not even that bad."
"See?!" Dust shrieked. "It's amazing, but no one else has tried it, and they hate the idea."
Dust blushed heavily and immediately covered his mouth. Horror giggled and blushed slightly at Dust, he thought Dust was being funny.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to have an outburst like that." Dust mumbled, putting his "dust persona" on.
"It's alright." Horror smirked. "You're really adorable and unpredictable, y'know?"
That made Dust blush more and slap Horror, making Horror let out a long laugh. Dust soon started laughing.
They quickly calmed down once Nightmare yelled at them to shut up. Though, Horror was still giggling a bit after that.

Dust and Horror burst out laughing again, and Horror quickly teleported the both of them into his room before they got into deep shit with Nightmare. Horror "accidentally" grabbed Dust by the waist, laying Dust beside him. Dust blushed and lightly smacked Horror.
"You're so goddamn adorable when you smile and laugh." Horror smirked, making Dust sigh. Horror immediately knew something was up.
"Don't lie to me." Dust growled under his breath. Horror rested his head on Dust's shoulder.
"I'm not kidding around." Horror sighed. "You're smile is amazing."
"Stop it.."
"You're laugh is like music to me."
"Stop."
"I love you, Dust."
"NO YOU DON'T!" Dust yelled, elbowing Horror in the spine. Horror yelped in slight pain, letting go of Dust. He looked up at Dust, and saw something he never thought he'd see.
Dust with tears running down his face.

"You don't know who I am, you're falling in love with my persona." Dust sighed.
"Open up, it's okay not to be on guard all the time." Horror coaxed, standing up.
"Don't get any closer." Dust mumbled, shaking slightly.
"Dusty, please-"
"Don't." Dust mumbled, covering his eyes with his sleeves. Muffled cries escaped him as he remembered all the times he's been rejected and never getting a happy ending. He couldn't stand love, it made him feel too vulnerable.
"Don't, please. I know it's not going to work." Dust softly cried. "It never has, what makes now any different?"
Horror walked over to Dust and gave him a hug. Dust tried to push him away, but Horror has a strong grip on him.
"It's alright Dust." Horror muttered. "We don't have to get into a relationship. Whichever you choose, I'll always be here to support you, okay?"
Dust sighed lightly, and wrapped his arms around Horror. Dust cried into Horror's neck.
"Sorry, I didn't mean to cry in front of you." Dust apologized through his tears.
"Shh, it's okay." Horror hushed. "You're Sade with me."
"Horror." Dust looked up to him. "I love you too, but I'm really not ready for a relationship.."
"That's okay." Horror smiled. "We'll stay friends, only if you're ready, we'll get into a relationship. Okay?" Dust nodded and smiled.
"Thanks."
