Silent children are told they are wrong
Mocking birds killed left and right

Innocence is not equivalent to silence
But the hardest lesson to learn
Is that your voice is now needed
In a different choir
The voices more mature
To sing a chorus
That will change the world
Because innocence
Is not equivalent to silence.
And we will not sit in silence
When our innocence is taken away either
