I thought that it would all come
Showering down
Raindrops on a sunny day
So unexpected
But soft.
It didn't happen that way-
It shattered like glass
Frozen in time
All I could do was stare
At the sharp fragile shards
I knew that soon
It would no longer be visible
Half way gone
And no getting it back
It's too slow to say anything
But to fast not to say goodbye.
The worst part:
I saw it coming.
