Looking at the bubble
I had been told to think of as you
And be set free when it popped
I looked and looked
And saw your sweet laughing face
The bubble was too innocent to see you any other way
And as it hit the grass,
Blades dull to us,
But deadly to something so fragile
The bubble
Simply popped
And how it hurt
Wasn't comparable to how you hurt me
But it didn't set me free
Like it was meant to.
