Surprise (English) ft One Direction & 5SOS

Chapter 14

Rose:

After a hectic morning, we go back upstairs.

When I saw the buffet, I wasn't hungry anymore. I don't feel good today.

I called my neighbor this morning and if everything is okay, she'll pick us up at 11 am.

I go visit my parents again. Their situation hasn't changed.
The longer they stay in a coma, the harder it is to wake up.

I tell them about everything that has happened and about my brother's surgery.

I walk to my brother's room to see if he's back already. No, unfortunately he isn't back.

Lastly, I walk to Paul's room where all the boys are.

Harry:

'I'm going to my mother', I say as an excuse.

Nobody has to know what I'm going to do.

"I'll go with you", Rose says and she stands up before I can say anything.

'Uhm...'. Niall sees I prefer to go alone.

"We were just about to play truth or dare. Do you wanna play with us Rose?, Niall asks her.

"Uhm...", and she looks at me.

When she sees that I nod as a sign that she should play she says "okay, I'll play truth or dare with you guys".

I look thankfully to Niall.

I partly changed my mind and go to my mom first to check how she's doing.

When I see she's sleeping, I walk away. On my way to the toilets.

I grab the knife out my pocket, which I took from the breakfast buffet.

I put it on my skin and press a little.

It doesn't hurt as bad as I tought it might would do.

I make 1... 2... 3... cuts on my arm.
I wear a vest, so nobody can see what I've done to myself.

Just as the cuts stopped bleeding and I want to store the knife, somebody walks in.

I quickly hide it behind my back.

"Hi Hazz, everything okay?".

I recognize the voice of the person who just walked in. It's none of the boys... It's Calum! Calum of 5SOS. Why is he here in this hospital?

I turn around and look in the eyes of Calum.

'Y.. Yes everything is okay', I lie. My voice cracked and I hope he didn't hear it. I'm afraid he did, because he looks intensely at to me.

'What are you doing in this hospital, if I may ask?', I ask to change subjects.

"Ow uh, I was on a date with Luke, when a car hit him", and he looms down.

'Ow I'm sorry...', I don't exactly know how to react. None if the boys are here to react and help me.

Calum enters the toilet. I will wait for him, I think. That's the best thing to do I assume.

When he walks out, it allows me to see his red eyes. So, he cried.
