Chapter 16

Michael:

'Sorry guys but we have to leave...', I say after we chatted with the boys and Rose for some time.

'We have a party tonight...', immediately after I said it, I regret it.

I quickly look down, because I feel my face turning red.

How could I be so stupid to say we have a party. They have a hard time here in this hospital. They will probably hate me for that...

Apparently I said it out loud cause Liam says: "It's okay bud. We'll never hate you. Your live will go on, just like ours. We'll take care of each other".

I look up and see everybody nodding.

"I totally agree with Liam. You can party all night long if you want", Rose says.

"You're our bandmate..., best friend. We will NEVER hate you Mikey", Calum says with a smile.

Everyone carefully starts to giggle. They know I don't like being called Mikey.

Rose:

Everyone carefully stars to giggle. Everyone except Ashton. He smiles through his pain, which you can see.

I look at him and he smiles back. Or at least he tries to smile. I look at him with an everything-alright face. I see him gently shake his head.

"Uhm..guys, before we leave. I have to go to the toilet. Can somebody show me the way please?", Ashton asks after a few minutes and looks at me with a say-you-will-do-that face.

But before I can even open my mouth, Louis says: "No, you're not allowed to go. You know what I'm talking about", and he looks very serious.

Everyone looks not understanding what he's talking about at Louis.

"Why not? It's not what you think", he says back.

"No is no Ashton. I won't forget what happened that time at my house".

I look at the boys not knowing what Louis and Ashton are talking about. The boys don't seem to know it either.

"But I really have to go to the toilet", Ashton says with tears forming in his eyes.

You can see he's serious and really needs to go.

"Alright then, but I warned you", Louis says a bit angry and everyone still looks weird at him. What's wrong with Louis? What did he mean with I warned you?

'I'll show you the way', and I stand up.

I read Niall's mind when I look at him: shit, they'll probably think I'm a weirdo now if I say I'm going with them, but I have to go to the bathroom too. Well, I can wait a few more minutes.

Ashton looks a bit relaxed and stands up as well.

But just when we want to walk away, Louis stands up as well.

What is he going to do?

He walks over to Ashton and grabs his arm. Ashton quickly turns around and you can read the fear of his face.

Louis whispers something in his ear and Ashton gets a bit pale before he whispers something back.

What's wrong between those two?

I stand close enough to hear what they're saying.

Ashton: "Can it please wait? I really have to go to the toilet".

Louis: "You know what happened that time at my house when you said that. I don't want that to happen again".

Ashton: "I know. And I'm sorry for that, but this time I really need the toilet. Please let me go Louis. I almost pee my pants...".

Louis: "I would like to say no, but I won't like to see you pee yourself in front of all those people, because they'll do something to me. So, okay you can go now, but if you're going to do 'IT' I'm never letting you go alone again. You understood that?".

Ashton: "Y..yes".

And Ashton quickly walks out of the room. I follow him and I can hear Harry saying to Louis: "Wtf is wrong with you Louis!?".
