Chapter 21

Ashton:

*knock knock*

"Yeah?", Rose asks.

"Sorry if I interrupt you guys, but can I go to the toilet here? Niall is still sick in the bathroom in our room", Louis asks shy.

Rose first looks at me for permission and when I nod saying it's okay she answers.

"Sure Lou", and she walks to the door to open it.

Louis goes to the bathroom and Liam enters the room.

"Hi Liam".

"Hi Rose, hi Ashton".

"I'm here to ask you guys if you want to have some breakfast with us, everyone's hungry".

'Yes, we would like to have some breakfast', I answer.

Louis comes out of the bathroom with a smile on his face showing me he's proud at me.

It always feels great when someone's proud of me. That gives me some confidence.

"I've got one thing left to say to Ashton, but we're coming", Rose says.

I look expecting at Rose.

"Actually I've got two things to say", and she smiles with her beautiful smile.

"First, I wanna compliment you. You did great saying you want breakfast. I'm proud of you!", and you can see that she really means it.

'Thank you', and I feel my cheeks getting warmer.

'What's the second thing?', to be honest, I think what it is about, but I want to know it for sure.

"I don't exactly know how to say it, but I think it's a good idea to go and visit a doctor after breakfast".

'Yeah, that's okay', I say fast, so in order to be rid of it very fast. I don't wanna go, but I'm afraid I don't have a chance to not go.

Apparently Rose sees I'm scared, cause she hugs me and asks if I want someone to go with me.

'Yes...'.

"Do you know who? And it doesn't have to be me, if you don't want so".

I didn't even have to think twice about it. I want Rose to go with me. She knows my whole story. 

'I want you to go with me'.

"Do you only say that because I'm here with you, or...?".

'No, I say it because you are the only one who knows my whole story', I see she's happy.

"Thank you Ash, it's an honor to go with you", and we stand up to go to the others and join them for breakfast.

Rose:

"Yes! Here they are, we can go have some breakfast", Michael says enthusiastically when we enter the room. Not Niall this time.

'How's Niall doing?', I ask when I don't see him.

"You can ask himself, he's in the bathroom", Liam says.

I knock on the door and ask if I can come inside.

"Yeah, come in", I hear Niall saying with a hoarse stem. That doesn't really sound good.

I walk inside and see a lividNiall.

'Wow, you don't look good at all, I guess I don't have to ask how you're doing anymore, right?', he nods.

'What do you have?'.

"I don't know, I woke up at 6 am and had to throw up every quarter since then. If you can't handle seeing someone throwing up, I recommend you to sit with the others".

'I can handle that', and Niall coughs a few times before throwing up again.

I go get a glass of water for him.

'Here you have a glass of water', and I hand it to him.

"Thank you Rose".

'Anytime Niall'.

"Can we go downstairs to have some breakfast now? I'm starving", Michael asks.

'Sure but shouldn't somebody stay with Niall?'.

"That's not necessary. You all can go have some breakfast", Niall immediately says.

'No Niall, I'll stay here with you'.

"No Rose, have some breakfast. You know what the doctor said".

'The boys can bring some bread upstairs when they're coming back. I don't need much', and I sit down on one of the beds.

"Are you sure you're staying here?", Niall asks.

'Yes, I'm completely sure. If I were sick, I would love to have someone around to help me. And my mother... she...', I look down, cause I don't want everyone to see the tears in my eyes.

Calum sits down next to me and put his arms around me.

'And my mother taught me if I wanted something from somebody I should do the same to them. So I'll stay here', and I quickly wipe a tear away.

"You're a strong girl", Calum whispers in my ear. I look smiling at him.
