Chapter 20

Liam:

"I.. I don't want to go Liam. I don't dare to go", and he starts to cry again.

'It's okay Ashton, I'm going with you if you want. And if you want, someone else can go with you too. I'm here for you, you know that huh?', I say as I try to calm him down.

It doesn't seem to work as he starts to cry harder.

"Ashton, would you please come out the bathroom? Only for one minute, you can go back as soon as I'm done. Please?", Harry says.

This won't help Ashton to come out the toilet. He's afraid and probably panicking. When you force him to do something, he will start panicking again and won't come out earlier.

"No, sorry", a sobbing Ashton says.

"Liam, I really got to go", Harry says.

"Maybe you can go to the other room and go to the toilet there?", Rose says.

"Thank you Rose", and Harry quickly walks out of the room.

A minute later he's back with a not so happy face.

"Niall is sick in the bathroom, so it'll take a while before he's coming off", he says quick.

Rose:

'I'll try to talk to Ashton', and I leave my bed and walk to the bathroom.

'Ash?'.

"No, I don't want to go to a doctor", he says back crying.

'Wait doctor? Why should you go to a doctor?', I ask surprised.

I see Harry gesturing that I have to hurry and I nod understanding.

'Okay nevermind I'll ask you about that later, but would you please come out of the bathroom?'.

"No, I'm too afraid".

'We won't do anything Ash'.

"But the doctors will".

'There aren't any doctors here', it stays silent on the other side of the door.

'Ash? I think I understand you...'.

'Liam would you wait outside the room please?', he first looks questioning at me not understanding why, but he does as I say and walks out of the room.

I lock the door and put the key under the bathroom door.

'See, I locked the door and only me and Harry are in here. You don't have to be afraid anymore'.

"Rose", Harry whispers silently.

"I can't hold it any longer...".

'Ashton, do you trust me?'.

"Yes", luckily he answers.

'Would you then please come out of the bathroom for one minute so Harry can go to the toilet?', the door opens slowly and when Ashton sees that only me and Harry are in the room he fully opens the door.

Harry quickly enters the bathroom and I close the door behind him.

Ashton now stands in front of me with the key in his hands.

I hug him and whisper that I'll wait till Harry goes away.

Harry comes relieved out of the bathroom. "Thank you Rose".

'Your welcome Hazz', and I ask him to wait outside.

I tell Harry and Liam to go to the others and that we'll come when Ashton is ready.

When I closed the door behind Harry I focus myself on Ashton again.

I sit down on my bed and gesture that Ashton can sit next to me, which he does.

'Why would you have to visit a doctor?', I see a few tears escaping Ashton's eyes, but he quickly wipes them away. But unfortunately I see it. I see everything... I see Ashton is in pain, cause he draws a hard face.

'Is it about your head?', and he nods.

'Do you want a painkiller', and he nods again.

I walk to my bag and grab a painkiller. I fill a glass with water and give it together with the painkiller to Ashton.

'Take a deep breath', and he does what I say.

'Do you wanna tell me why you should visit a doctor?', and I see he looks scared.

I sit straight. "I've had quite a lot of headaches over the last couple of weeks. Painkillers won't work that well and the itches are hurting really bad".

'But why haven't you visited a doctor yet?'.

"I'm afraid", he silently says. Probably feeling ashamed of it.

'Why are you afraid of doctors?'.

"Well... My Dad... You know, everyone thinks he left us...".

'Yeah, I know... But it's not the truth, is it?'.

"No", and again some tears escaping his eyes. But this time he doesn't wipe them away.
