Judge's Review: I don't even know were to start with this book. It took me by surprise how intriguing it was! The cover definitely gets a point because of the very interesting image on it, I'd definitely make anyone look twice. The title is very original because it's the name of the main character, and she is no ordinary character. The whole plot of the story took me by surprise, I never expected a story in that timeline to be so adventurous and hooking. I definitely wanted to keep reading. Usually when you go back in time like that and there's something serious like a war going on, I expect it to be overwhelmingly educational and boring. This was the complete opposite. It was thrilling, hooking, interesting.. this book was the definition of adventure.
Pacing was perfect. Character development went smoothly, I got to know them very well. And the diction made it easy to "see" and feel what was happening. 1st place. No doubt whatsoever. :)
