Cheers to the ones who eve tease,
kudos to the ones who harass me,
bravo to the ones who stand and watch,
even the educated embarrass me,
even in daytime, looking over my shoulder,
oh I am the criminal for i act bolder?
then the so called 'society' teaching 'ethics' and 'values' ,
"girls don't disrespect, girls don't abuse"
"women are goddesses" , what a cheat!
safety? independence? all deceit,
"going out? keep a male company!
oh but don't trust men!" what an irony!
"behave! be lady like,
for you are standing in a society,
cover yourself for they will see" ,
I ask "why me?"
I don't deserve the slaughter,
just for being a daughter,
before you question her fur,
before you question her character,
before you accuse her,
educate him, like you educate her,
none can master these one sided fights,
for the world is full of hypocrites,
with the constant fear haunting me,
will I ever be free?
