Lyna found out important information the next morning.

She was (apparently) a cuddler.

She woke up to Jewels tucked under her chin with her arms around her. Jewels appeared to have rolled over at some point and her unconscious self took that as permission to hold her. Lyna tried not to think of the embarrassment she would feel if Jewels woke up and had to ask why she was spooning her.

She carefully slipped around her trying to take care not to wake her only for Jewels to speak.

"So you're awake now?" Lyna jumped back blushing furiously as the raven haired girl stretched.

"How long have you been up?" Lyna asked in embarrassment.

"5:00." Jewels responded bluntly. "I tried to get up, but you kept squeezing tighter when I tried so I eventually just gave up and decided to wait for you to wake up."

Lyna buried her face in her paws and decided this was the most embarrassing wake up she'd had in a while.

Jewels retreated quickly to the bathroom as Lyna checked the current time. 6:00AM. She stretched and grabbed some clothes and her toothbrush heading out to the hall bathroom. Cleaned up and much calmer than when she woke up, Lyna went downstairs.

Jewels waved to her holding a box of cereal. Lyna waited for the girl to turn around before giving her a quick once over. Jewels had chosen a green shirt that matched her eyes and a pair of black jeans. Her eyes quickly moved back to eye level from where they were lingering on her rear, as the serval-fox turned around.

"Here." Jewels said handing her a bowl.

"Thanks." Lyna responded accepting the bowl easily.

"We've got to start walking soon." the small girl explained. "Eat fast."

Lyna took her advice and started demolishing her cereal.

Jewels walked into the living room. There was shuffling, but then Lyna heard the most beautiful music. She scarfed down the remains of cereal before going to check it out. She sat on the couch with an awed expression as she watched the serval -foxplay. After a few moments, Ms. Amelia made her way into the living room and happily started playing along on the piano.

When they finished playing, Lyna clapped in a riot. The beauty of the song was stunning and she was impressed by their music playing abilities. Jewels flattened her ears and smiled shyly while she rubbed her arm unconsciously.

Lyna stared. She felt that it should be illegal to be that adorable. Then she chuckled. It should also be illegal to be as good at laser-tag as she was. Amelia seemed to note her attention to Jewels because she grinned widely and winked.

"Bye Ms. Amelia!" Lyna called upon noticing Jewels bee-lining for the door.

As they walked up the street with the cars passing by, Lyna toiled with thinking of a good conversation starter. Finally she decided on the tiny girl's violin skill and hoped she wouldn't be treading on any toes from sad memories.

"I didn't know you could play so well." she decided. Jewels tilted her head.

"Thank you." she said with a soft smile.

"How long has you been playing?" Lyna asked as they sat on bench Jewels was always waiting for them.

"A few years now. It's fun." Jewels responded easily.

"I play too." Lyna divulged.

"Violin?"Jewels asked with surprise. Lyna noted that she pointedly wrapped her tail around her waist.
