Chapter Eighteen: Last Night
I wake up with a pounding headache, facedown on the couch. The foul scent of beer is omitting from my pores and I feel disgusting.
A blanket was lazily thrown over me, covering my waist, and I realize my shirt isn't a shirt.
It's skin.
Slowly, I slide my hand down my side.
I'm not wearing a shirt or a bra. Fuck fuck fuck.
What the hell happened last night?
I look around the room and see I'm not at home, I'm at Aiden's house.
My eyes widen as I lift the blanket up to look down.
Okay, I have my panties on still.
What the hell happened? Where are my clothes?
I look around the room and my shirt is nowhere to be found.
I spring up to my feet, wrapping the blanket around my body.
Where is Aiden.
Standing up causes me to moan in pain, holding my forehead.
It's 7:30.
I work at nine.
I start cussing quietly, wincing at the pounding my head.
I let myself into Aiden's bedroom and see he's shirtless too. His clothes are next to the bed and the other side is undone like somebody was next to him.
"Aiden." I mumble, walking over to him. I shake his shoulder roughly and he groans.
"What?"
"Aiden, I'm not wearing any clothes."
His groaning stops immediately and he lifts his head up, looking at me.
"What?"
"I'm not wearing clothes."
"So?"
"So I woke up without any clothes on."
What I'm saying seems to click in his mind and he looks under the covers.
"I have underwear on."
"So do I."
"Okay, so?"
"I don't have a bra on." I say. "Aiden, did we-"
"I don't remember." He grunts. "Shit." He sits up fully, kicking his legs over the side of the bed to reveal his boxers. Rubbing his face, he stands up.
"Do you really not remember?" I ask.
"I have no idea Lily, I really don't remember."
