The land of Penama is a large country made of three kingdoms. Epheria, known as the kingdom of blood. It's has many huge bustling cities full of life. But what people don't know is that it's a kingdom of thieves. There is no law there so people can get away with anything. The King stays in his castle and exploits others to amass his wealth.

Then on the opposite side is the kingdom of Lucio. A beautiful land of forests and magic. There the elves live in their trees and are the bitter enemies of Epheria, but you wouldn't know that at first because they trade and are very civil. With Epheria's king exploiting his people isn't enough. He often tries to get Lucio's Queen to agree that they could cut down some of their trees.

Lastly is my very favorite kingdom. Morning. A peaceful kingdom with many borders and weapons. That sounds like a contradiction I know, but Morning's people don't like to fight. All the defence is to keep Epheria from messing with them.

Who am I? Well I am the handsome rogue born in Epheria though my home is Morning. I picked up my habit of stealing from Epheria but I have not once taken anything from anyone in Morning. I'm well known and loved there because of my friend that lives in the castle. The bodyguard of the princess Kina. His name is Lorio and he's like a brother to me. Also because I like getting to know every person I see, on my way to the castle I help the baker open shop and flirt a bit with the blacksmith's daughter. As always I get passed through with a smile from the guards, since I come here almost every day. Getting here early is important to me. Before the princess wakes up and Lorio has to be on duty and doesn't have time to talk. I walk right into his room.

"Hey Lorio." I say crashing on his bed. He's halfway through getting dressed. He rolls his eyes but smiles at me.

"How many times have I told you to knock 1st, and also to close the door behind you when I'm changing?" he says and I smile as he closes the door.

"I don't know. Too many times to remember." I say as he finishes getting ready.

"You never listen though." I turn and put my hands behind my head.

"Important meeting today?" I say noticing the different gear he put on today.

"Yeah. The King is meeting with some dignitaries from Lorio and wants the princess to greet them also."

"Interesting." I say and close my eyes.

"When is your time?" I ask.

"I have a quarter of sun time." he says after looking at the sundial outside the window. I groan. That's only enough time to walk over and get something to eat. He smiles.

"Don't be so upset. After the meeting we can talk. The princess' fiance demanded that there be more shifts of bodyguards. He apparently doesn't like that I'm always with the princess."

"Oh I see." I say and stand. We walk to the dining hall in silence.

"I'm going to guard the princess for half three quarters of sun time before the meeting and then after that we can go out into town. It's been a while since we walked around together." he says and I smile.

"It certainly has. I'll be looking forward to it then. We could cause quite a bit of trouble." I say and he smiles.

"Like that time we released the herder's pen of pigs." he whispers and we laugh.

"Or that time I accidently burned down the abandoned building." I say and he shakes his head.

"It wasn't an accident at all. I told you not to play with that fire and you didn't listen to me as usual." he says. I smile mischievously at him and he smiles back. We finish eating then he stands and triple checks his straps then puts his helmet on.

"About time for me to go." he says going to the window to check the sundial. I frown but am smiling again when he turns back.

"Kay then see you after work." I say and wave him away. When he leaves the room and I sigh. Now I won't be entertained until he's done. I slowly finish eating then meander out of the castle and walk through the rose garden for a while.
