"Hello Princess." I say and she turns.
"Oh. Hello Holland, Minnow." she says greeting us slightly flustered. I almost smile.
"You just missed the spar between Holland and the captain of the guard." Minnie says.
"Oh I wish I'd seen it. Who won?" she says.
"I did."
"Amazing. I want to watch you sometime. If that's alright?" she says and I nod. She really is making an effort. I can feel waves of unpleasant feelings coming off Minnie very clearly, but the Princess is oblivious. As smart as she is, every once in a while she can't read a mood and this time I'm glad for that. After a little more time together we split up and I spend some hours in my bedroom when I suddenly feel sick inside. I sit up and look around. No it's not that I'm sick. It's like, I can feel something is wrong. Something is very wrong.
There's a knock at the door and when I open it, he's standing there. The King is standing there with a big evil grin and that confirms it. Even before he opens his mouth to tell me. He did something and that's what is wrong. I'm going to have one heck of an adventure, that's for sure.
