The next day is crazy. It's actually Owl's decision for me to leave. He hasn't consulted with the Queen. So she's very upset.
"I can't believe this Elder Owltree! He's only just got here and now you're sending him away. He still has a lot of training!"
"Our warriors have tested him and he's ready. The prophecy needs to be fullfilled my lady and everything has already been set in motion." he says and I stay silent.
"Fine then. Where must he go first?" she says and Owl looks to me.
"To the Kingdom of Blood to confront my father." I say and Minnie taps me.
"But you said both your parents are dead."
"They are, but this is my adoptive father. The King." I say and they all gasp except Owl. Minnie holds onto me tighter.
"So you must go talk to him?"
"Yes."
"Let me go with you."
"No Minnie it's something I will do alone."
"No. You will be escorted to the Kingdom of Blood. Make him think we were the ones who raised you." she says standing and we follow her. She goes to a side room and comes back out with a fur lined hooded jacket.
"These are only for those who are highly esteemed. You will go in knowing you have the full support of my kingdom."
"I already know. But I will be happy to wear this."
"Nemophlia and Minnow will accompany you."
