I get together with Lorio and Philia before going in.

"What did she say?" he asks.

"That from here I need to go on alone, and that she'll hold off Diamera for now." I say.

"For now?" Philia echos, bewildered.

"I'll fight her eventually." I say double checking my things.

"What." They say together. I pretend like I don't hear them and pat Lorio's arm.

"Keep watch while I'm gone." I say and then turn to the Philia. I only nod. There's too many things I would like to say and none of it can be said with Lorio present.

"Just call me Philia from now on then." she says. Dang. She's been reading my mind the past couple of days.

I have been ever since you confessed to me. Only small bits though.

Thanks. I hope you didn't look too much at other things. I think shouldering my pack, and walk to the entrance of the cave.

If it makes you feel any better, I was thinking it would be nice if we were engaged.

I stop and turn to look at her, we lock eyes.

"It would've been at another time."

But Minnie is my bond.

I watch her eyes widen and I sigh then turn away. I can't ignore destiny, and Minnow is a part of it.
