"Queen Camelia." she says and her hand slides into mine. I stand straight and look at her. She smiles and lets go of my hand to put her hand on my cheek.

"Holland. You're certainly a handsome young man. The prophesied one has come according to Owltree and my daughter." I smile.

"I will fulfill the prophecy to the best of my ability."

"Oh I'm sure you will but I don't care about that right now. What I want to know is if you're betrothed to someone."

"No I am not betrothed my Queen." I say and she smiles moving closer sliding her hands to my chest.

"Oh I'm very happy to hear that, and you can call me Camellia."

"That would be very improper my Queen." I say turning my face away. Another to reject yet again.

"I insist you call me Camellia, and do not be afraid to speak your mind."

"Ok then Camellia I will never be with you." I say and she pulls back.

"Fine then." she snaps. Still oh so beautiful though. She usually has men at her beck and call for certain.

"Shall I go back to formality?"

"Yes indeed. My daughter will come back soon. You can be informal with me when we're alone." So she hasn't fully given up. A little longer and the Princess comes in.

"Holland I see you've met my mother."

"Yes. It was an honor." I say.

"I see." The Princess says. She totally knows. I clear my throat a little.

"Let's go to the throne room." Camellia says. These two might be the death of me. I can just feel it.

In the throne room instead of a straight back chair, a lounging couch is at the top of the stairs. Okay that's different.

"I have a lounging couch in all the rooms I use often. The straight back chair really hurt my back. I don't need it to keep good posture." So much for her side of the keeping formal deal.

"There is no need to explain things to me my Queen. I'm sure all your decisions are well thought and planned." I say. She smiles and puts her hand on my arm.

"I can't wait to get to know you better Holland." she says and I nod. Now I understand, she can act however she feels like. I'm the one that has to stay formal. Not so excited for this adventure now.
