Chapter 43

As we walk towards the throne room I use the speed read and memorization spells to learn the new spells Melaya gave me.

"I think Queen Camellia and I will do most of the speaking with the King." I whisper for Camellia, Philia, and Minnie to hear. Philia glances back and nods. The other two don't make any motion that they heard me. But I know they did.

"Holland. Tell me about the Princess you bonded with." Minnie says.

"Her name is Jenna. She has a twin brother Kinly who hates me." I say and Lorio snorts.

"Then the oldest one is named Kina." I say and she looks at me and pats my arm gently. I smile and finally we've arrived at the throne room. They open the doors for us and then Camellia, Minnie, and I take the lead when someone rushes at me. I know it's Jenna so I quickly pull away from Minnie to catch her. I frown down at her.

"You can't do that Ms. Jenna." I say and she looks up at me smiling. She doesn't say a word but I can tell what she's thinking. You're my bond so I can do whatever I want as long as morals aren't ruined. I look over at Minnie who shrugs. She looks amused at the fact that I'm uncomfortable.

I gently detach Jenna and Minnie comes to my side again. She whispers in my ear.

"I completely forgot to say this earlier. Thank you for saving me." she says and I smile.

"Anytime." I whisper and turn back to Jenna who's watching us.

"Who's this." she says all snooty. Wow I am seeing new sides to her. She's always been sweet and innocent until now. I wonder if her love for me is twisting her personality.
