Dinner was the absolute worst. I'll tell you why. All of us arrived and the King was already seated, waiting for us. He sits at the head of the table as always and I sit on his right side. Philia and Minnie sit on the opposite side farther down the table slightly separated from us. That's very rude, but neither of them say anything.

Besides the fact that The King wouldn't address the two of them at all and only talked to me, I also felt very uncomfortable from the glances I got from both the girls who weren't really paying much attention to anything else. He picked up on this but didn't say a word about it. At least one thing I'm thankful for. After dinner I bid everyone a good night and go to bed.

The next day I get up and get dressed. I go out to see Minnie waiting for me.

"She told me you know."

"She wanted your advice, and you gave her some without telling her your feelings."

"Of course. As much as it hurts I know you will choose me in the end." she says and I smile as we walk around the castle. I tell her bits and pieces of my past when I lived here. We end up on the training grounds and that's when I see him. The ferocious Degrio, who decided he should be called Dagger instead. He was somewhat of a friend for a short time. We cultivated our bloodlust and hatred together for a time. I pause as he finishes off the guy he's against and then let out a low whistle. He immediately turns and grins.

"Finally come to greet me Holl?" he says and I tap Minnie's shoulder.

"I'll be just a moment. I'm going to spar with him." I say and she takes my elbow.

"I'll hold your cloak." she says so I nod and let her take it.
