Three-

I whistled along to a familiar tune watching as Ness climbed a tree,"You know you really shouldn't keep going over in his yard." I chimed. Ness groaned at me. "Hey, you are the one who threw the yo-yo in the first place." I snickered.

 I heard the soft thud of Ness hitting the ground with his feet. "Got it!" he said triumphantly. There was then a loud barking that rang out and Ness scooted up that fence faster that a squirrel. "Get your dog holy hell!" Ness spat out landing on the other side. I burst out laughing,"Oh god, that was great!" I wheezed. Ness grumbled as he sat up and adjusted his cap,"Whatever." I smiled helping him to his feet,"It's getting late, we should get home." I yawned. Ness rolled his eyes,"C'mon Ninten, live a little. Let's go to town, there's a celebration." I raised an eyebrow suddenly very excited and curious about the situation,"What's it for?"

"It's just to lift people's spirits. They'll be dancing and other things." 

I smiled,"Fine let's go." I gave in. Ness fist bumped into the air,"Yes!" he exclaimed. "It should be starting soon, let's go." Ness chirped. I followed him through the grey field of dead grass and little trees. Man this smoke is a real problem. I put my scarf above my mouth and nose as we entered the town. It's always worse on the outside. Ness led me into the square,and when I saw it I felt my eyes glow with awe. People stood together sharing news smiling, there were lights and even an old radio playing music. It wouldn't look like that much a few years ago. But right now, at least to me, this was everything. "Wow." I said pulling my scarf down to test the air. It was fine. A woman turned towards us and I immediately recognized her face. And she recognized mine. She made her way to me,"I hoped I would see you here." she said wrapping one arm around me the other holding the baby. I felt my cheeks heat up with embarrassment as I saw Ness making faces at me.

 The woman then let go of me turning so I could see the baby. I look and my heart almost melted. He had the prettiest blue eyes and a killer smile too. I then felt a pang of sadness. This child will have to grow up in a world like this one...I gave the woman a smile,"He's beautiful." I said hoping she couldn't see the pity in my eyes. I waved to her before heading off with Ness to see what other things were around. 

"Ness! Ness! Come here!" an old man with a snow white beard waved us over.

 "Oh hello again." Ness chuckled. "I finally fixed this old thing." the man said patting a machine next to him gently,"You mind if I try it on you two first?" Ness nodded happily,"Sure." Ness stood beside me slinging an arm around my shoulders. The man ducked behind his machine,"Okay....3....2...1...say: Fuzzy Pickles!"(IM SORRY-) he chuckled. Ness gave out a 'peace' sign and I just stared at the man. There was a short flash of light and the man nearly jumped for joy carrying a paper. 

He showed it to us,"She works!" he exclaimed while we looked at a picture. That was a camera? Looks more like a robot. Ness folded the picture putting it in his pocket as he and the man started a conversation. I got bored about halfway through so I muttered something along the lines of 'I'll see you later' before slinking away. I watched as the people laughed and played like they never have before. It was actually heart warming. I hummed softly swaying a little to the beat of the music as I wandered around. My eyes were closed as I twirled around a bit a little too into the sounds. I stopped my path abruptly as my face hit something hard but warm. I looked up and was face first with someone's chest. Woah. I backed away laughing a little,"Gosh, I'm sorry." I apologized getting a better look at the person.

 Let's see, they were tall and had a nice frame(which is very important). I then noticed the small shine off of his bright, but very neatly kept, ginger hair. "You should really watch where you're going." he spat out rudely. Well damn just when I was starting to like the guy. 

Sigh

. "Hey, it was an accident okay. Jeez." I huffed. The guy studied me for a moment, was he sizing me up? I'll kick his ass easy, it doesn't matter that I'm vertically....challenged. I puffed out my chest slightly,"I don't want a problem." I said. The guy raised an eyebrow and gave a slight smirk,"Yeah, okay." he scoffed before turning away from me. I watched him leave my cheeks heated with irritation and my eyebrow twitched. Who even is that guy...he didn't look familiar.. maybe he's visiting? Yeah Ninten, real smart conclusion that actually decent and clean looking guy is gonna visit a place like this. I rolled my eyes at myself before heading back to the square to find Ness...
