((Almost done and I really r e a l l y don't like these last two but whatever I guess.))I woke up before Claus. I got up and decided to look around. I walked out into the field of dead grass. Actually it wasn't dead grass. It was wild wheat, and it swayed slightly coming right around my waist. I looked back to see Claus stirring. Awh. He got up stretching out his arms and letting out a yawn that I couldn't hear. He looked at me and waved. I waved back. I turned away from him and began thinking about last night.. I crossed my arms shifting my weight. I believe Claus would never lie to me, but then again...I believe in a lot of things that won't come true. I turned to see Claus catching up to me,”This wheat is gorgeous.” he said happily. I guess it was kinda pretty? He grinned,”We used to have fields like this in Tazmily before it got paved over.” he said wistfully. I smiled and grabbed his arm,”Let's get going.” I said softly. And we were on the move yet again, we were so close. We reached the end of the field after a few long hours and came upon a large hill. After a bit of complaining Claus finally convinced me to climb it with him. When we reached the top I saw something I thought I'd never get to see in real life again. I watched as Claus's eyes glittered with amazement. Trees.((Idek what my thing is with Claus and trees but just ignore it)) Live ones. We made our way down and went to touch them. I felt the leaves with my hand and remembered the first day of this trek. I felt a warmth spread through my body as I looked at Claus who was staring around like a curious child. I let out a laugh and nearly tackled him pressing my against his in a act of pure joy. Claus caught me kissing me back gently for a moment before pulling away,”Sorry.” he said teasingly mimicking my voice. I smiled slightly and laid my head against his chest letting him wrap his arms around me swaying slightly. After a while we both laughed and let go of each other. “Well that was something new.” Claus hummed. I rolled my eyes playfully at him,”You think so?”
“Yeah.” he took my hand,”Podunk must be past here. That's where the star is.” he said. I nodded and followed him as we walked...together. A little ways into the lively forest we stopped for a short break,”I can't believe a place like this still exists.” Claus chuckled leaning on a tree. I sat right beside him,”I know right?” I smiled. “Makes you wonder why the Empire wanted it gone…” he murmured light dappling his face. I let out a sigh,”Who knows, but it's almost over.” he bit his lip,”This is gonna be dangerous.” he said. I nodded,”I know. But we're both gonna make it out.” Claus looked down for a moment,”Promise me nothing will happen…”
“What?”
“Promise me that you'll still be here when this is over. And that we can be together for as long as we can.” I smiled,”I promise” I looked up at his eyes and smiled.
After that discussion we got up and headed to the end of the forest. We had eaten along the way so we could be energized for anything. We reached the end of the forest to be met with a small clearing and a giant wall cutting through it like a knife. “Woah…” Claus gasped. I glanced around seeing if there was anyway we could get through. Bingo. “There's a door.” I pointed out. We went to it and Claus grabbed the handle. He looked at me with a smile. I could barely contain my excitement that kept buzzing in my chest. He was about to turn it when a whistle rung out from seemingly nowhere. Claus froze and his pupils dilated to a slightly larger size as he turned around sharply,”Master?” he called out. Suddenly the peaceful clearing began to fill with a few officers and soldiers one by one until they stopped and made way for one man. He walked with the grace of a lion and held his head high he was dressed in a nice suit. “Clausy.” he said in a beckoning tone. Claus stepped forward then stopped. He looked like he was struggling, that he was fighting the urge to move. I looked up at the man, well, I assume that it's Porky at this point and furrowed my eyebrows. His face twitched,”Claus. Come here right now.” Claus let out a shaky breath preparing to move. I grabbed his arm and pulled him closer to me,”You don't have to listen to him Claus.” I said turning his face to mine. “He is not your master.” Claus placed his forehead against mine,’I’m scared Ninten.’ his voice sounded in my head. I pulled away,”Don't be.” I then looked at Porky,”He's not going with you!” I hissed. Porky chuckled dryly,”As adorable as that statement is I'm afraid he doesn't have a choice. Claus let out a growl,”What do you mean?” Porky's face lit up,”Ooh feisty little thing aren't you?” his tone changed to a voice you would use with your dog,”What did you let him put in your head Clausy, huh?” Claus let out a defiant huff,”Things that I needed to know all along. You can't tell me what to do.”
“And you're sure I can't?” Porky questioned. Claus nodded a determined spark flashed in his eyes. Porky shrugged,”Ah well, I tried didn't I?” he laughed. My eyes narrowed. “But hey, there's a certain beauty in the fact that people have twins.” Claus stiffened beside me. “When one is of no use, there's always a spare.” he spat. “Let me go! Let me go!” a voice screamed as two officers made their way to Porky. In their arms they held a struggling blonde who I automatically identify as Lucas because of his face looking almost exactly like his brother's. “What are you doing to him!?” Claus's voice cracked with worry. “Well since you won't come with me I'll just have to use him instead.” He placed a hand under Lucas's chin,”Isn't that right Luke?”
“You keep your dirty hands off him!” Claus yelled. Porky smirked,”Oh yeah, well who's going to stop me my dear?--” his question was cut off by Claus letting out a violent scream before tackling the man full force,”Attack you idiots!” Porky ordered with a choked gasp. I felt an immense amount of energy flow through my body as they neared me. Oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit oh shit. I backed up against the wall watching as Claus tussled with his own foe I swallowed and jumped back from the attacking officers. ‘Let's get our groove on boys!’ a voice echoed in my head,”Ness?” I said aloud. ‘Yes, it's me you knucklehead.’
“How?-”
‘ hush. I'm talking to you via plot convenie- I mean long distance telepathy. I can sense you’re in danger.’ I dodged a fist quickly,”How convenient.” I hissed. ‘ Quiet! I'm gonna tell you a few things to help you.’ I dodged another attack,”Make it fast Nessie boy.”
‘Okey’(sorrynotsorry) first feel warmth in you. Think of nothing but heat.’ I did as he told me feeling hot tickling at my feet. 'Now say the words PK Fire.’ he ordered((yes I am fully aware that Ninten cannot actually use these attacks but screw it)). “PK Fire!” I mimic and thrust my hands out feeling flames escape my fingers in a wonderful show of colors. I watched as the row of soldiers vanished before my eyes,’Rockin!’ Ness cheered. “Now sit tight and wait, you'll be fine I'll check in later’ and just like that our connection was ended. I heard a sickening thud and turned around to see Claus letting out a groan as he was pinned against the ground.
