Kong's POV

I saw him day after day for two weeks struggle with himself. He had completely stopped going to classes. He barely even left his apartment. And honestly that was a good thing, since he looked absolutely dreadful. He hadn't managed to sleep since the day we returned from the meeting with Jes, spending nearly every night clutching his head, alternating between crying with pain or throwing up.

I wanted to help him, I really did. It was heart breaking watching him suffer endlessly but Jes had made me promise to stay away until he was ready. But by the looks of it I really doubt he would survive too long if he didn't accept his reality soon.

It was currently a little past 3 in the morning and I was struggling to stay awake while P'Arthit continued his nightly routine. Watching him day and night was taking a toll on my body as well, but atleast with him sequestered to his room the potential for danger was severely reduced.

I was just about to doze off when P'Arthit made his first move in weeks. He got dressed and left his room. Where could he be going at this time of the night? That man seriously knew how to keep me on edge. I quickly shot up from my chair to get ready myself to follow him when I heard a loud knock on my door. I swung the door open wide to see P'Arthit standing there with blood shot eyes.

"P'Arthit!"

He pushed past me and slumped down in the chair I had just vacated.

"I am not saying I believe any of this bullshit but if, and this is a huge fucking if, I chose to believe then what the hell is all this supposed to mean?"

"Uh...I really think we should go to Jes. He will be much better at helping you."

"No. Before I go talk to that nut job I want answers from you. Has he really had dreams that have come true?"

"Yes. All the time."

"And he thinks my dreams will come true too?"

"Most likely."

"All of them? Or are there any regular run of the mill dreams that I am allowed to have now?"

"Ummm....I am not sure....P'Arthit I really think we should go see Jes. He can hel..."

"Ok, so let's say I have one of these freaky dreams. What do I do then?"

I frowned at his question. I knew all of this was confusing for him but I am not sure I will have all the answers he requires.

"It really depends on what you see. If it is some sort of natural disaster then we prepare all the aid requirements. Jes will send out teams to help evacuate as many as he can, or set up aftermath relief teams. If the dream involves a particular person or a few people then Jes decides how to deal with them accordingly. Sometimes it's good news sometimes not so much. You really need to ask Jes how to deal with them case by case. It's honestly not too bad though. I swear. Jes can help you control what and when you get your visions."

"No no no. I mean specifically how do I stop it."

"The dreams? I just told you, Jes can help control...."

"No, I mean the thing that happens in my vision. How do I not let it come true. Make it so that it doesn't happen in the future."

"That's not possible."

"What do you mean?"

"I mean you are dreaming about the future right? So it will happen in the future. You can't do anything to stop it."

"What the fuck is the use of being able to see the future when you can't do anything to control it?"

I was actually shocked at his outburst. He went pretty damn fast from not believing he can see the future to wanting to control people's destinies.

"Ummm....you are the oracle. You get glimpses into what the future will be like so you can prepare yourself and others for its repercussions. Not so that you can become the master of the future. What is destined to happen, will happen, no matter how hard you try to change it."

He stared at me for what seemed like eternity before he asked me a question that took me completely by shock.

"Jes told me you have some sort of powers?"

"What!?!"

"What are they?"

"Fuck! I can't believe Jes blabbered so much. He isn't meant to reveal these things."

"What are they?"

"I am not going to tell you."

"Why not?"

"Because it is none of your damn business."

He continued staring at me with an unreadable expression. I am not really sure what he was looking for when he finally let of a sigh.

"Ok, I am ready to go to Jes now."
