Epilogue

Arthit's POV

Three years. For three years I kept trying to see Kong in my dreams. Something. Anything. I didn't even care if I wasn't in the vision with him. I just wanted some hint as to where he was. How he was doing. But for three years he has evaded me.

Krit and Lila were nowhere in the picture either. And Jes adamantly refused to tell the fates of any of them including the reason behind why my life changed so drastically. After I was released from the hospital I tried everything to ignore Jes. I went back to being just an engineering student for a while. Focused only on my studies and friends and anything and everything that didn't remind me of Kong.

It barely lasted a few months. As soon as I turned 21 my visions took over my very being. Everything was so much more clear now. I knew what I saw. I understood why I saw it. And as angry as I was with Jes, I went back to him for help.

And help me he did. He trained me. Guided me. Helped me with dealing with my visions, giving me manpower, resources. But in all our interactions we never spoke of Kong again.

Over time Jes started playing a smaller role in interpreting my dreams. He constantly spoke of retiring but I wasn't ready to take over his operations yet. I had graduated. Gotten myself a job. Gotten new friends. Other than relaying my visions I stayed away from everything else.

Was three years long enough for me to get over Kong? Was three years sufficient for me to not obsess over the events of those months over and over again. Was three years what I needed to face Kong again without all my past emotions rushing back to me? I guess I would find out soon enough.
