We return home and I am greeted by an unimpressed dad. Oh shit, what have I done now? I look and him, giving him a smile but he just looks at me sternly.
We reach him and he points his finger at me. "You, young lady, are coming with me." Dad says with a serious tone of voice. "Parker, go to your room."
"Yes Mr Stark. I'll see you later, Y/n." Peter says walking off to his room.
"Bye." I whisper back.
I follow dad to the lad and I can't stop myself from shaking.
"What have I done this time?!" I raise my voice as soon as the door shuts. "Last time it was for drinking some of your alcohol because you said I could if my anxiety heightened but then changed your mind! I can't be perfect. Of course I can't! Because I'm your daughter! It's not like you're a complete saint!"
"What have you done?! Let's review shall we?" Dad responds, yelling back. "First you design a suit in class, then you start building it in lessons, then you start getting closer to Parker, and now I'm being told by Happy that you want to start fighting and go off and do solo missions for the Avengers!"
"So? What's wrong with any of that?!"
"Someone at school could find out who you really are and the press will come after us! You could get hurt on a mission and I won't be there to help you!"
"Okay but what's wrong with me getting closer to Peter? It's not like we're going out and he's stopping me from hanging around with you!"
"Just, don't get any closer to him. If you do, I'm taking you out of school and you'll never see him again."
"B-But..."
"No! My decision is final Y/n!"
"Please don't..."
"Go to your room!"
"Dad..."
"Now!"
I storm out of the room and run towards my room. I know dad will be watching me but I don't care. Instead of turning into my room I rush into Peter's.
I shut the door behind me and lock it. I turn around and see Peter sitting on his bed in just his underwear. A light blush covers my face and Peter doesn't hesitate to move a pillow on his lap to hide the fact he's only in his boxers.
"W-W-What are you doing here?" A flustered Peter asks me.
"Getting away from my dad." I reply. "Before I talk about it, please put some clothes on or something."
He nods and I turns around as he puts on a pair of denim jeans and a plain grey t-shirt. "Okay, you're good to turn back around now." I turn back around and sit on the bed and Peter sits down next to me. "So, what's up?"
"Dad's being stubborn and overprotective."
"Why?"
"He thinks we're getting close... too close."
"What's wrong with us getting to know each other better?"
"I asked him that but he just sent me to my room."
"You're not in your room, you're with me in this room."
"Yeah and if he doesn't like it then he can drag my dead body out."
