Why Can't You Just Be... A Normal Kid?! (Peter Parker/Spiderman X Reader)

Movie Night With Peter

We arrive home and Peter jumps off my back and does a flip.

"Show off!" I shout. "FRIDAY, open the lab doors to the yard."

"Opening doors now Miss Stark." FRIDAY says following her command.

The doors finish opening and I fly into the lab. "You coming?!"

Peter looks over at me, snapping back into reality. "Coming!" He shouts back, swinging into the room.

I go to the docking station for the Mark III and take it off as Peter is removing the Spider-man suit.

When we are both ready we run into the living space. I can't really say front room because it's so huge. I crash my body onto one of the sofas and Dad walks out of the kitchen with two trays of Chinese take-out.

He places the trays on the oversized coffee table. "Dig in kiddos." He says taking a sip of whiskey.

"Dad! It's movie night! What are we watching?" I say reminding dad.

"Star Wars. What episode do you wanna watch Y/n?"

"Two!" I shout a little excited.

"Again?"

"Yep!"

"I hope that's okay kid." Dad says talking to Peter.

"It's fine Mr Stark, I love Star Wars." Peter replies.

Dad walks over to the DVD stand and took the disc out of the Star Wars box set. He then walks over to our huge flat screen TV. Dad opens the DVD player and places the disc inside. When the disc was taken into the machine Dad makes his way to the sofa and sits down next to me.

We all grab piles of Chinese as the beginning of the film plays as it fills the average reader on everything that's happened.

Dad, Peter and I sat up on the sofa, digging into the food in front of us. The noise of the ships made us all avert eyes towards the screen.

The ending credits scrolled down the screen whilst the main theme was playing over it.

All of the food was gone and Dad was next to me lightly sleeping, he had drunken a lot within the coarse of the film.

Peter and I look at each other and get up off the sofa.

"I'll show you where you will sleep tonight." I say. "Follow me Spider-boy."

Peter speeds up next to me and we walk towards the bedrooms. I walk up to my bedroom door, which is decorated with posters and a keep out sign as the centre piece.

"This," i say putting my hand on my door handle,"is my room." I walk to the room next door. "You will be sleeping next door to me. If you need anything just knock."

I flash Peter a smile before walking into my bedroom and closing the door behind me.

I walk over to my stereo sound set up and play Hurricane by Panic! At the Disco (see video at the beginning if you haven't heard it before) through my large set of speakers.

I walk over to my desk and place my Mark IV blueprints into my school backpack. When the song finishes I pack up and go to bed.
