What Are You Trying To Say, Peter?

"Sup bitch." I say peering through Peter's bedroom door. "Guess who's not on house arrest anymore!"

"Yay! That's great!" Peter rejoices. He walks over to me and picks me up, spinning me around, hands on my waist.

"Let's go to the yard."

"Sure."

The two of us walk to the yard and sit at the bottom near a river. We sit down and relax. We talk for a while and lay on our backs, looking at the sky.

"Can I tell you something?" Peter asks.

"Absolutely! You can always talk to me." I reply.

"So, I like this girl. But, there's just one problem, I don't know if she likes me back and I don't want to ruin our friendship. Even if she said yes, what happens then? I'm too awkward for a relationship."

"Well, the worst thing that can happen is that she says no. You'll have nothing to worry about though, you're too great to be turned down by a girl. Practise on me. Imagine that I'm the girl you like."

"Um, okay." He clears his throat. "Hey, um, there's something I want to tell you, ask really. Um, I was wandering if you wanted to maybe, you know, go out with me? Like, be together as a couple?"

"See, it wasn't hard was it? Now all you have to do is ask her."

"I, uh, just did?"

"W-What? Peter, what are you saying? I'm confused."

"I like you. Like, really like you."

"What about the girl you were telling me about the other week at school?"

"I was talking about you." He fumbles through his pocket and takes out a small box. "This is for you. I made it in tech lesson."

He passes me the box and I open it to see a necklace with a spider logo on it, similar to the one on his suits.

"Peter, this is beautiful. Thank you."

"So? What do you say?"

"Yes!"

"Wait really? Are you sure, because I thought that Mr Stark wanted us to-"

I cut him off my placing my lips on his. I pull away and he's covered in a deep red blush.
