Edward POV
The Original and the witch had returned from what I'm guessing was a heated argument.
"It has been decided that since one of Isabella's greatest fears is growing old that is how she will die. She will stay being a human to live her natural life. Bonnie, has agreed to cast an everlasting protection spell on, Isabella, to protect her from any willing or forced vampire from turning her. If, any vampire should attempt turning her she will die instantly... a human without risk of becoming one of us. Does that sound humanitarian enough, Carlisle" said Elijah. He looked at, Carlisle, whose mind was now at ease. Carlisle, was only concerned about Bella because of his profession as a doctor. And not because he cared for her personally. None of cared.
"Yes, yes it does" he agreed.
"Good. I suggest that all of you begin to pack your things as soon as possible. You and your family will be relocated to our current residence. Now, I know much you prefer bad weather but considering the circumstances..."
"Yes, I know. We've managed to work around good weather before, I don't think that it would be much trouble. Everyone let start packing" as soon as Carlisle said that everyone including me stood up. Everyone used their speed to start packing everything that we could manage to pack. The rest of our things could be shipped at a later time. As for Bella she was already at the hands of the Bennett witch.

Solar, my sweet love I will spend a lifetime making things up to you. I'm so very sorry.

*Mystic Falls- 6 months later*
Delilah Mikaelson POV

It has been close to five years since, I've last seen my family in the small town of, Mystic Falls. So, you could imagine how overjoyed I was to get a call from my adoptive father, Elijah. He told me that I had gone long enough traveling around the world with nothing, but a large suitcase and my precious violin. That it was time to see his favorite and only daughter back home with him and his siblings. Especially, because Aunt Rebekah wouldn't shut up about being the only female in the whole mansion. So, naturally I obliged in saying that I've gone to long without our usual bout of family drama. In addition, to the craziness that Mystic Falls in general was a magnet for all things supernatural. To be honest being around humans all day thinking about not making the cut for some play or which human was hotter than, the other was exhausting. It made me hate myself internally for being a telepath. I mean yes, I could just block all of them out, but when you're the only dhampir in the room friends were much needed. So, every now and then I let myself just be bombarded with three or so voices at a time to gather information. Then, live with trying to put at least 10 percent of my time blocking them all out. Kind of like when you put a blanket on top of a blasting speaker, you just muffle all the sounds so it hurts less.

But, anyways as you might have figured out is that yes, I am a dhampir which, is a child that has one human parent –mainly female- and a vampire father. The mother-to-be usually had a low mortality rate of surviving the pregnancy never mind actually giving birth to said child. No one knows for sure how this kind of procreating process started nor do they know why. But, as for me all I ever knew was that my mother did in fact survive giving birth to me and raised me until, I was five years old. During those five years my bio mom absolutely hated me. She only fed me enough blood so that I wouldn't end up killing her. Also, that every day she would remind me that I was just a product, a reminder of what happened to her. She didn't even sugar coat the fact that my father raped her in some alley in Chicago. And left her for dead. I of course at the time understood everything she said to me. You see, a young dhampir even at the age of five could learn a copious number of things at one time. Even if it is about something as terrible as a man taking advantage of a woman. Or the fact that the woman who birthed you had no qualms of leaving a five-year-old kid in an endless forest. Despite the fact that at the time my physical appearance didn't match with my actual age. To other people I looked like a pre-teen, but to me I was just a five-year-old girl who was just abandoned by her mother.
