Delilah POV – 1 hour later
In my 95 years of living I have never felt so complete than, when I was in Edward's arms. It was a different kind of warmth and safety when I was with him. His voice, His touch and that crooked smile of his sent shivers down my spine. An undeniable feeling that I've never experienced before from anyone or rather any man. I didn't know much about him a person other than, the memories that I was able to uncover. Memories that were filled with guilt and self-loathing surrounding the death of his first mate, my doppelganger, Solar Lovett Cullen. You could imagine how surprised I was about the uncanny resemblance between her and I physically. The only difference was our personalities, the color of our hair, and species. I felt extremely sad for what was done to her and how much torture she had to endure to end up the way she did. She didn't deserve to have the love of her life torn away from her by mere mortal. The image of this, Bella Swan, seared itself into my memory for future use if, there was the slightest chance we should meet. Even though I didn't know, Solar, personally she was family and from what I learned from the Mikaelson's, family is everything. I promised myself that, I would seek my revenge for both Edward and Solar on this Swan girl. It is just matter of when and how I will do it.

Edward POV
A whole hour has passed since, my Delilah had fallen asleep. I couldn't help but, to look at her beautiful face as she peacefully slept in my arms. It made my heart leap when the corners of her mouth would slightly turn up as the happier part of her dream would come up. At this very moment she was dreaming about her last performance in London. She looked like an angel clad in white with her golden hair flowing down her back. Delilah, played so gracefully, so perfect as she played the violin. But, what made me even more happy was when she dreamnt that I was there. Smiling and looking so proud of my mate as she played. It reminded me of when, Solar, would play her violin as I played my piano filling the house with such beautiful music. It our music that was part of the happiest memories that my family had before, her death. I still remember the last song we played had composed together as a symbolism of our love for each other. I remember the warm feeling of when she looked at me with pure love in her eyes. And spoken words filled with words of happiness. The last emotion she had felt before, that b*tch meddled in our lives with her dumb infatuation with me. Perhaps this was the reason why she had stopped playing her violin because she would never feel that kind of happiness ever again.

I could feel another wave of guilt wash over me at the thought of how things had ended between us. Also, how I unknowingly trapped her in this never-ending depression for two whole years before, escaping the only way she knew how. It made my heart ache at the remembrance of when she had finally come back home... just not in the way I thought she would. Her last words still stung six months later. I sighed deeply as, Delilah's tired looking eyes opened.

"Good afternoon, my love. Did you have a good nap?", I asked. Looking down at her with a smile.
Delilah, groaned as she untangled herself from my grasp. She looked almost like a feline as, she stretched out all the kinks out of her body. Once, she was done, Delilah looked at me with a smile on her face. "Good evening, Edward! That was the best nap I had in years!", she exclaimed. She sat up from her bed, stretching her arms up towards the ceiling.
I laughed at her excitement over sleep. "You looked like you were having a very good dream, love. Do you always dream about playing the violin?", I asked curiously.
She still looked tired as, she shook her head 'yes'. "Playing the violin is the happiest form of escape for me. I can just start playing a song and just get lost into the music. Forgetting all the bad things, only leaving the good behind as I play. Even if it is just for a few hours or minute music is my cure all for almost everything."
