3rd Person's POV:

Isabella's father paced in his study, impatiently waiting for his attendant to get back. Five weeks have gone by since Isabella has been kidnapped and he was through waiting for her to come back. "Seven weeks, ridiculous. It's too long for her to be gone." he mutters before shaking his head in frustration.

His thoughts were filled with vile things, his plans getting further and further away from the sanity a normal person should have. Isabella's absence has driven her father over the edge, without him even realizing it either.

A knock at the door made him cease his pacing, turning his head towards it with a grimace. "Come in." he says and the door opens, revealing his attendant, who hurried to his side.

"Sir, we've located the ship off of the Southern ports. It seems that they've stopped two days previous and are now at sea again, coming back this way." the attendant says and Isabella's father smiles cruelly.

My plans will be set into action now. He thinks, a deep chuckle coming from his mouth as he faces his attendant with an intimidating glare.

"Perfect. Send four of my ships to meet them halfway. Sink the ship and bring the two of them back here. I am no longer waiting for a negotiation with pirates." he says and the attendant slowly nods his head, leaving the room hurriedly to carry out his orders.

"That pirate will get his meeting with the King earlier than planned, and then he'll be sent straight to the gallows to be hung. Then I can force Isabella to marry into the Kings' line, and I'll soon be the wealthiest person in all of England." he says, laughing to himself as he eagerly awaited his plan to fall into place.

The attendant ran out, even after hearing his words, and went out of the house. He walked down the streets, looking around anxiously as if he didn't want to get caught by anyone. Letting out a sigh, he crossed the street and headed down to the harbor, where the governor's ships were anchored.

"He's going too far. He's lost his mind." the attendant whispers under his breath before letting out a sigh, shaking his head back and forth before walking up to the ships, seeing the captains all sitting at a table, awaiting their orders.

"You're to go out and stop the ship, and bring them back." the attendant says, and the captains all nod their heads, standing up to get ready to depart.

"Don't you think this is going a little overboard, even for the governor?" one captain says with a frown and the others nod their heads, letting out heavy sighs. "It's too bad we have to obey him." another muttered before they all went to their separate ships, preparing to cast off.

"Wesly!"

The attendant jumped as he heard his name, and turned around to see the governor himself coming up to the ships. "Y-yes?" Wesly asks, confused as to why he was coming out here.

"Send a message to the King, as well. Tell him he'll have his pirate sooner than seven weeks. We'll have a wonderful surprise for him." he says with a ghastly smile and Wesly slowly nods his head, not liking how the governor was thinking.

Wesly leaves the governor, running down the streets so that he could catch up with a messenger from the King. As Wesly ran, an uneasy feeling came over him as he thought of what this could bring. This man's ambition...it could lead to a lot of destruction. Dammit!

Wesly saw the King's messenger, a man only a little taller than he was. "Richie!" Wesly yells, watching as the man turns around in confusion, only to have his eyes widen in confusion as he sees Wesly approaching him.

"Wesly, what are you doing here?" Richie asks and Wesly shakes his head. "I have a message from the governor. He wanted me to tell the King that he'd have his visit from the pirate sooner than seven weeks. He also said that he'd have a surprise for the King." Wesly says gravely and Richie's eyes widen.

"Just how insane can one man get?" Richie whispers under his breath before letting out a sigh. "Wesly, do you have any idea what he's planning?" he asks and Wesly grimly nods his head.

"He plans on hanging this pirate and forcing a marriage on Isabella so that he can become the wealthiest man in England. At least, that's what I've overheard so far." Wesly says and Richie curses under his breath, running a hand through his hair frustrated.

"I'll also warn His Majesty of a possible war happening with the governor. It's not unlikely, especially now. This has caused bigger problems than I could've ever imagined." Richie says and Wesly nods his head.

They shake hands before they depart, both of them going their seperate ways. After a long journey, Richie finally makes it back to the Royal Palace, where he immediately requests to go see the King.

Guards lead him into the throne room, where he sees the King sitting down, looking quite troubled over something. "Your Majesty." Richie says, bowing to him as the King looks up.

"Richie, you're back early." the King says surprised and Richie just lets out a sigh, nodding his head. "I have...news, Sire." Richie says grimly and the King leans in, anxious to hear.

"The governor has wanted me to tell you that he would have the pirate for you sooner than planned, and that he had a surprise in store for you." Richie reports and the King puts a hand on his head, thinking deeply about this.

"What else? You look like something else is troubling you, Richie." the King says and Richie lets out another sigh. "There may be a war with the governor. He's wanting to execute the pirate and force Isabella into a marriage within the palace so that he can become the wealthiest man in England." Richie says and the Kings' eyes widen.

"What?" he says angrily and Richie nods. "He will not execute that pirate." the King says angrily and Richie looks at him in shock as he gets up from his chair, walking over to the window with a determined look on his face.

"We'll prepare for the worst. That man has no limit to his ambition, even if it is feeding his daughter lies. He will not make a move against me and he will not have the authority to execute anyone, not as long as I have anything to do with it." The King says and Richie smiles, bowing to the King and leaving the room.

"You just had to show up now, didn't you? You've always caused me trouble." the King whispers, shaking his head as a small smile grows on his face.

"What can I say, Harry? You never cease to surprise me."
