Chapter 44- Welcome Home

Zayn's~

Carrying Lukes car seat inside the house I set the diaper bag on the floor next to the door and Luke's car seat on the couch. Quickly jogging outside I spotted Emma carrying Leah's car seat. "Babe you know you can't carry heavy things. Especially 2 days after giving birth" I sighed grabbing the car seat from her. "Leah isn't so heavy" she pouted.

"Just be careful okay? Go inside. I'll make you something for lunch. Put your feet on the table. Make sure you're relaxed. I'll give you a massage after you're done eating and tonight after the twins fall asleep" I explained as we walked inside. She smiled.

"Thank you" she said softly. I nodded setting Leah's car seat next to Luke's. "Go change Into comfy clothes. I'm just going to feed them then lay them down in their rockers hopefully they'll fall asleep" I informed her. "I want to help out" she pouted. "You can in two weeks" I kissed her forehead. She frowned. "but I can still cook for us and feed the kids" she said. "And I'll do the rest" I grinned.

Emma's~

I gave a light chuckle before walking upstairs. Changing into some yoga pants and one of my regular white v-necks I threw on some comfy fuzzy socks throwing my hair into a messy bun I walked downstairs. Leah was already in her rocker and Zayn was just starting to feed Luke.

Sneaking my way into the kitchen I slowly opened the fridge grabbing some turkey ham, cheese, lettuce and tomatoes.

Placing everything on the counter I walked back grabbing a butter knife and mayonnaise. Grabbing six slices of bread I began swiping some mayonnaise on each slice.

"Need any help?" I gasped jumping at the sound of Zayns voice. His hands on my hips spinning me around. "I uh. I was making lunch for us" I said softly. "No no I'll be making lunch and dinner today. Go lay down" he kissed my neck softly his right hand cupping my right cheek light.

"I already started lunch" I whispered. "And I'm gonna finish lunch" he grinned. "Loser" I pouted. He chuckled. "Go" he pecked me lightly.

Walking into the living room Leah was fast asleep but Luke was just laying their his gaze on the t.v ahead of him. Sitting next to him I carefully took him out. "Hi Lukey, your daddy's being a big meanie" I pouted setting my feet on a pillow on the coffee table ahead of me.

"God I wish you could tal-" I was interrupted by the loud doorbell which made Luke burst into tears. As I slowly rocked him in my arms Zayn ran to the door swinging it open. "Jesus lads, knock next time" he sighed letting the boys, El and Dani in. "Oh my god did we make him cry?" El's eyes widened. "He doesn't like loud noises. He'll cry easily if you talk to loud near him" Zayn said.

"Oh, we're sorry" Dani apologised sitting next to me. The boys spreading around, on the 3 seater couch and floor. El soon joined me on my side. "Leah fell asleep" she pouted. I chuckled. "She fell asleep a couple minutes ago" I said. "Hi Luker" Harry grinned.

"Luker?" Liam scrunched up his nose. "Shut up, Emma calls him Lukey". "I'm his mother!" I protested giving a light chuckle.

"So how have the kids been?" Niall asked. "We just got home about half an hour ago" I said. "Weren't you supposed to come home yesterday?" Louis asked. "Yeah but they made us stay today for because they wanted to tell us the results" I murmured.

"Andd?" El asked. "They're fine" I gave a light smile as Luke grasped my finger. Zayn soon walked in with a small bottle. Only 4 ounces filled but we knew he wouldn't drink that all. "Did you burp Leah?" I asked. He nodded.

He soon walked back into the kitchen "I wanna feed him!" Louis grinned. "Okay" I chuckled. He stood up slowly taking Luke from me but Luke's grasp got tighter on my finger.

El and Dani laughed. "He don't like you" Harry chuckled. "It's doesn't Harold. Learn your fucking grammar" Louis mumbled. But we knew he was teasing.

"Language Lewis" I purposely pissed him off. He falsely glared at me.

"Let go of your mummy Luke. C'mon come with your best uncle Lou!" Louis grinned. Luke soon let my finger go. Louis chuckled sticking his tongue out at me. I chuckled shaking my head.

He soon sat down on the couch feeding Luke. "So, are the rooms fully complete?" Niall asked walking out of the kitchen with a sandwich in hand.

Is that my sandwich?

"No, we just need to build the cribs but since we though-" I didn't even get to finish my sentence before Niall and Liam ran upstairs. I furrowed my eyebrows. "They're gonna go build the cribs" Harry stated. "oh" I mumbled

"Gosh your kids are so cute" Harry sighed sitting on the floor next to Leah's rocker. "Thank you" I smiled. "They look like little angels" he cooed. i chuckled. "I'm gonna go get their pictures taken" I murmured. "Like a photo shoot?" Louis asked. I nodded. "Aww, what're they going to dress up as?" Eleanor grinned.

"They're gonna be naked, they're gonna lye down on their bellies next to each other. Leah's head will be on Luke's shoulder and they'll be wearing these adorable knit hats. Leah's is pink. Luke's is a baby blue colour" I grinned. "Oh my god that's gonna be adorable" Danielle grinned.

"Nudist"

I glared at Harry. "Shut up". He put his hands up in defence. I chuckled. Zayn soon walked in with a plate in hand that had a bunch of sandwiches stacked on top. Some foam plates in his other hand. Grabbing a foam plate from him I grabbed two sandwiches. "Jesus making 15 sandwiches is fucking hard. I went through almost 2 packs of bread" he sighed taking a seat next to me as Eleanor moved and sat next to Louis.

"Thank you" I kissed his cheek lightly. "So when's their appointment?" Eleanor asked as she took a bite of her sandwich. "What appointment?" Zayn furrowed his eyebrows. "The one when we're gonna take the kids to take their picture" I said. "Oh, that one is next week Tuesday" Zayn chirped wrapping an arm around my shoulders.

"Oh, are you two gonna take a picture with them?" Louis asked. "Uh.. I dunno i'd like to" I murmured taking another bite of my sandwich. "We could if you want" Zayn kissed my forehead. I nodded.

"Alright then, that answers your question" Zayn chuckled. "Wake up" Eleanor whispered to Leah. I chuckled. "El, she just fell asleep. We can wake her in an hour of so" I cuddled closer into Zayns side.

She pouted "even Luke fell asleep" she

Moaned. "That's all babies do El, they don't do much" Zayn shrugged.

"That's boring" Louis whined. "Eleanor we're never having kids" Louis sighed. "About that.." she trailed. Everyone's head snapped to her. "What?" Louis whispered.

"I found out 3 months ago" she whispered. "Are you serious?" he asked. She nodded. He narrowed his eyes at her. "You're a horrible liar Ms.Calder" I laughed. "Oh shut up I tried" she laughed sitting next to Louis. "Oh thank god. I am not gonna take care of 3 kids" Louis sighed. "3 kids? We're only gonna make you babysit every day except Tuesdays. You get Tuesdays off" Zayn shrugged.

"What? Hell no" Louis shook his head chuckling standing up slowly. I laughed lightly laying my head on Zayns shoulder watching as Louis carefully laid Luke in his rocker buckling him in.
