Sorry this isn't the best.

Coughs rang through your apartment as you tried to cover them up by placing your hand over your mouth. Your throat was dry and your chest felt like tons of weights were on it.

Rubbing the tip of your nose with your fingers, you heard a ding from your phone on the night stand.

You just received a text from your boyfriend.

Groaning loudly because of the aching pain in your throbbing head, you sent him a text back, telling him that you'll pick him up in the lobby.

You fixed your messy hair and put on some appropriate clothes before you proceed to go down to the lobby.

Feeling a tiny bit better as soon as your eyes landed on Tom, a smile found its way on your pale face.

Walking up behind the couch they had in the lobby, you used your hands to cover Tom's eyes as you bend your back forward, setting your chin on his shoulders.

"Guess who." You didn't even need to try to whisper, your voice was already weak.

"An angel." Tom chuckled, cupping his hands over yours.

"Ew no, that's cringey." You removed your hands under Tom's big ones.

"You doing that is cringey." He stood up and turned around to face you after you withdrawn your face away from his shoulders.

"True." You shrugged. Placing your hands on his cheeks, you pulled him into a sweet kiss that both of you had been yearning for.

"Miss me?" He asked as soon as he stepped onto the shiny marbled floor of your apartment.

"A lot." You sent him a lazy smile as you guys sit on the couch in the living room.

Tom looked at you weirdly for a few seconds before you noticed his stare.

You seemed off to him, more exhausted.

"What?" You asked. He only continued to stare at you as if he was lost in his thoughts. He must had noticed that you sounded like you had a blocked nose. "Tom? Hello?"

Rolling your eyes, the sound of your hands coming in contact with his left cheek echoed through the apartment. The slap was enough to turn his head at least 90 degree right. "What, Tom?"

"Ow?" He looked hurt and confused, obviously. He was finally out of his trance.

"Sorry, was that too harsh—" you paused at the familiar and almost itchy feeling in your chest. You stopped yourself from coughing in his face.

"Y/n, you okay?" Your name rolled down his tongue perfectly smoothly like water droplets on leaves after a rainy evening filled with purple sky and cold chilly air. "Are you alright? You sound and act like you're sick."

"I'm fine." You gave him a sheepish smile.

You could tell that he wasn't convinced but he decided not to say anything else.

It has been a few days since Tom had arrived. Your sickness had been harder to hide, it was getting worse. You were coughing all the time.

"Nothing, I jut choked on my food." You coughed with your hand on your chest.

"You're not eating anything, Y/n." He gave you a weird look, looking at you with worried.

"Let's forget that I ever said that." You stood up from the couch and entered your bedroom that Tom had been sleeping in for a few days now.

You didn't need to ruin his two weeks off with your sickness, you'll feel better after a few days anyways, at least you thought.

Tom followed you behind quietly. He let out a sigh, wrapping his arms around your waist gently, pulling you against his body as he rested his chin down on your left shoulder.

He used his foot to closed the door shut with a loud bang. Placing his small soft lips on your neck, he traced small kisses up to just a little lower than your ear, sucking on your skin.

"You alright?" He asked after he pulled his lips away from your neck, turning you around to face him with his arms still around you.

He began to walk forward, pushing you backwards until the back of your knees hit the bed.

Tom bender his neck a little so that he could kiss you but just a few centimeters away, you pulled away from his arms and shook your head.

"Not now."

"I haven't kissed you since the day I arrived." He pouted and sat down on the edge of the bed, patting his thighs, asking you to straddle him.

The same churning feeling erupted harshly in your stomach. Your throat stung as you cover your mouth to stop yourself from vomiting. You had been to the doctors a few times without Tom knowing, taking the medicine they gave, you were getting slightly better.

Somehow you couldn't stop yourself from throwing up this time. Racing into the bathroom, you placed your hands on the side of the sink.

It didn't take Tom a long time to notice the familiar noise he'd always hear when his mom was pregnant with Paddy.

He came into your shared bedroom for that week and saw your hair falling by the side of your cheeks. He knew exactly what you were doing.

"I'm fine. No I'm alright. I just choked on my food." Tom pitched his voice, mocking yours as he used his hands to push your hair back before he rubbed your back up and down.

"I'm fine." You managed to speak even when you just puked. Tom rolled his eyes at you before he grabbed you a small towel on the counter, dabbing your lips with the wet cloth.

"I can do this by myself, Tom." You lowered his hand, grabbing the towel gently.

"Let me help you." He begged.

"I don't need to ruin your week off." You coughed and left the bathroom.

"But it's hurting me knowing that you're sick and I'm not helping even when I can."

"I don't want you to be sick." You excused, trying to push him away when he grabbed your hands.

"I don't care, plus, if I get sick I get to stay here longer."

You sighed.

Tom pulled the cover just a little over your chin before he climbed onto the bed as well. Wrapping his arms around your waist. You nuzzled your face into his neck, loving the warmth even when you were burning hot from your sickness.

"Feeling better?" He questioned with his cheek pressed against your burning head.

You looked up at him for a second. Before you could look away, Tom used his hands and pulled your face closer to his, connecting your lips together.

"No."
