Thomas' POV

Ngumiti siya nang malaki nung bumaba ang tingin niya sa aking mga kamay.

"Oh my God"bulong niya at parang manghang mangha siya.

Shit, why is she here?

"Wait, are you going to propose?"she asked.

"Not to you"kaagad na sagot ko at tumayo na ako.

Napatawa naman siya nang bahagya "Alam ko naman yun, silly. So, who's the lucky girl?"

"Ara"sagot ko.

"Ara?"

"Galang, si Bal"

Napangiti siya at medyo natawa "Really? Why?"

Medyo kumunot ang noo ko "Anong why? Mahal ko si Bal, bakit ka ba nandito?"

Bumuntong hininga siya "I guess I'm too late now"

Hindi naman ako nakasagot.

"For the past few months after we broke up, I know I made a really terrible decision without making you feel free to explain"she started "I met that Michelle girl, I think, last month. And her belly's not blocking anything. She's not carrying a baby, I guess you're really telling the truth. I should've not doubted you when you came by my door. I shouldn't have talked to you. I--I'm really sorry"

She looked at me as if trying to erase all of what happened before.

"It's okay now Arra. I mean, a lot of good things happened after that. It's a blessing I guess, because after that, I've realized that there's really one person that's worth the love. It's Bal"

She smiled "I'm glad you've found someone but paano nangyari yun? Like--"

Kaagad na akong natawa.

"She's not really a girl girl, right?"

"Before"I say "Before the wildest journey"

"How was it?"she asked with a smile "Can you tell me what happened?"

Napatingin ako sa may pinto, mukhang matatagalan pa naman si Bal kaya nakipag kuwentuhan muna ako kay Arra. Unlike before, hindi ko makayanang ibalik yung nararamdaman ko para sa kaniya. Yung talagang tinitibok ng puso ko ay si Bal na lang talaga.

Dati rati, makita ko lang na ngumiti si Arra, wala na. Lusaw na ako. Pero ngayon, ilang ngiti at tawa na ang napakita niya, angat pa rin sa isipan ko yung ngiti ni Bal sa akin.

Para bang sa lahat ng bagay, lamang na lamang na si Bal.

Talaga ngang siya na ang mahal ko.

"And now, I'm going to propose to her. Sa tingin ko, dito din naman pupunta 'to"pagtatapos ko ng kuwento at natawa na lang ulit siya

"That's a crazy story, really. But I'm glad you've found someone that will absolutely stay by your side"saad niya "I bet you two will absolutely have fun together"

"We will"sagot ko.

Bumuntong hininga siya "I'm glad that you ended up with the nicest girl. Natutuwa ako na kayong dalawa pala ang magkakatuluyan. Can you believe it? She's your friend but will turn into husband and wife. I'm happy for you, Thomas. Thank you for choosing the best for yourself"

I just shrugged "Everything's happening for a great reason"

She nodded "It is" and smiled "So, I better get off. Baka maruin ko pa ang surprise mo"

Kinuha niya ang ilang paper bags na mga pinamili niya at niyapos niya ako.

"You made a good decision. Best of luck for you"saad niya. Niyapos ko na rin naman siya at after nun ay bumitaw din siya.
