I groaned as Newt and I rolled on the ground. I panted as I looked up at the ceiling, while holding my side.

"I forgot how much I hated poofing," I groaned.

"Are you alright?" Newt asked me.

I gave him a thumbs up. "I'm good. The room's just spinning." Which I know will pass momentarily.

"Alina?" I heard a soft voice call out.

I looked up and my eyes widen. "Ryan?" I quickly got up and ran over. "Merlin's beard, Ryan!" 

I knelt in font of him and gasped. Ryan's face was all cut up. His left eye was swollen shut. He was covered in dirt and grime. Hit bottom lip had a small cut with blood coming out.

"Alina, what's going on?" He asked frantically. "One minute I was heading home, the next I was being attack by that bloody bear! Then you and Newt showed up. I'm in the ally one minute, the next I'm in here."

I shushed him. "Ryan. Ryan. It's ok. I'll explain everything."

Newt came over and Ryan immediately scoot back. "Get him away from me!"

I placed my hand out front of me. "Hey. Hey. Ryan, it's ok. You can trust Newt. He's not going to hurt you."

"What the hell is going on?"

Newt pointed towards the door. "I'll leave you two alone."

Newt walked over to his suitcase and opened it. He gave me a tight smile before climbing in. And it finally occur to me that were in inside Newt's house.

"Did he just go inside his suitcase?" Ryan breathed out. "How did he do that?"

I bit my lip before taking a deep breath. "Newt...he's a wizard."

Ryan gave me a confused look. "A wizard? Are you talking about those crazy magicians your old neighbor ranted on about?"

Mary Lou. That thought of her made me think of Credence. I let out a shaky breath, pushing those thoughts of him away, before looking back at Ryan.

"Yeah. He's one of them."

"Are you -"

I shook my head. "No. I actually met Newt back in New York. It's a whole other adventure that will be explained later, but I need you to believe me when I say, you can trust Newt."

I got up and placed my hand down. Ryan slowly took it and I helped him up. I walked over to the suitcase and opened it up before going down. I popped my head back out when Ryan wasn't following, only to chuckle when his mouth flew open.

"You coming or what?" I asked amusingly.

"Is...Is it safe?"

"Would I be climbing down here if it wasn't?" I only laughed before climbing the rest of the way down. I jumped and brushed myself off. "Oh, and watch where you -" I was cut off when Ryan came crashing down, yelling. He fell right in front of me and landed with a hard thud "- step."

"Ow," Ryan muttered.

I helped him up. "Come on. If you don't believe me, then you might believe this."

I opened the door and was greeted by a bright light. I was greeted by nature. Trees were in front of us as little fireflies were flying in and out of them, in one part of the area. Another area was dark. The moon was high as I see Mooncalves running across the desert. I looked towards Ryan to see his eyes wide as he looks around in amazement. His mouth was open as he finally came to conclusion that all of this is real. Magic. Wizards. Magical creatures.
