The state of relaxation can never get old. A blanket of comfort keeping you warm in the night. Your mind drifting into the furthest reaches of your imagination as you witness the dreams that are brought up into your mind. The familiar faces of friends and family that distort memories and dreams together.

Wake up!

The voices of your friends that sound as if they are right next to you or the sensation of being awake even if you are only dreaming.

"Quinn, I said wake up!"

"Oof-" I grunted as a pillow came flying across my cheek, startling me from my dream state.

"Bekah! You could have, I don't know, left me to sleep or something!"

My best friend Rebekah threw her head back in laughter as she made herself at home, rummaging through my drawers and closet as if she owned the place.

Well, sometimes it certainly feels like she does.

"We're going out tonight!" A groan escaped my lips as I fell back into my pillows at her words and squeezed the bridge of my noes. Grasping my phone I looked at the time before another sound of discomfort came from me.

"It's only ten in the morning!" Bekah turned and scowled at me, her big chestnut eyes rolling around as if searching for something. Yea, maybe her brain.

I chuckled to myself at my own joke before flinging the covers off of me and grasping the bundling contraption, also know as my hair, and trying to run my fingers through to detangle some knots while looking for my brush.

"You know that we have to pick out something nice, then go get food, then come back and do our hair and make you look presentable to go out!" Rebekah sneered at me, stressing the you as she gave me a look of disgust.

"How come you only said you have to get me presentable?"

Rebekah walked closer to me, leaning in and cupping my face and giving me a couple pats on my cheek. "Because darlin'" she began to mutter in as much of a southern accent as she could, flicking her hair over her shoulder and strutting away. "I always look presentable no matter what!"

I scoffed, "Maybe at a petting zoo."

Bekah and I erupted in laughter as I walked into my bathroom to brush my teeth and get ready for the day. After detangling my hair and brushing my teeth, I walked back out into my room to see Rebekah sprawled across my bed, searching through her phone.

I sat across from her and gazed at the open drawers and clothes strewn from hangers all across the room that I had just recently fixed to my liking. "What makes you think I want to go anyways Bekah? You know I'm not a big party person and I only just got her yesterday, maybe I'm jet-lagged or something."

"Quinn, I love you but you are such a bore sometimes! Plus the place we are going to is a club that just recently opened and I've been dying to try it out but I wanted to go with you instead of by myself! Please!" She grasped my hands and tried to give me her best puppy dog face as her bottom lip jutted out and quivered slightly. I laughed and pushed her slightly by her forehead before sighing and agreeing reluctantly. Just because I wasn't a huge party fan doesn't mean I have to ruin it for my best friend who, might I add, is letting me live with her while we go to college together.

Rebekah clasped her hands together in giddiness as she flew out of the bed and ran to my closet. "Great! I already picked out the perfect outfit for you and I know what I'm going to wear and we are going to be the hottest most sexiest bitches there! Got it?"

I laughed at her enthusiasm, nodding along with her as she grabbed my clothes for tonight to wear. Hopefully I still had something nice packed away in my closet but if I did I'm sure Rebekah will definitely find it.
