Quinn POV

"So in other words, we are going to get a confession on tape, give it to the police, and that's it?" Thomas remarked, glancing at both Jaxon and I like we were crazy.

We had decided to meet the following day, knowing that the sooner things had come to a conclusion, the easier it would be on everyone's lives.

This meant that we were sitting at a coffee shop, the bay window's letting in the right amount of sunlight to give that warm comforting vibe of being at home and reading a book. The mahogany wood floors correlated well with the similar wood table and black wire chairs. All of us were huddled in a corner, coffee in hands and serious lines on each of our faces.

"Well to make it sound basic, yes. That's exactly what we plan on doing. We can throw a little get together for the lacrosse team as a celebration for doing so well this year."

"Congrats on that by the way Jaxon." I chided at him, catching the grin that christened his face.

"Thanks babe. Anyways, a lot of people are going to be invited, Quinn will pull Thomas away from the crowd, get him talking about it. I'll come in and say that I know what's going on and tell him to pretty much fuck off."

"Then that's where I come in and dissipate the situation, then we go to the authorities." Thomas interrupted, slamming his hand down on the table in a dramatized fashion.

I rolled my eyes at him but couldn't help the small chuckle that left my lips, Jaxon joining in with his own small laughter. "I honestly don't see anything going wrong with this plan of ours." My eyes caught both Jaxon and Thomas as I stretched my arms overhead. "With all the information that he should relay to us, that would cause him to go to jail for quite some time, right?"

Thomas and Jaxon glanced at each other before both nodding their heads. "I don't see why not? I mean, you already have a restraining order against him, the judge will take into affect that he's screwing up and at fault big time. Plus if we get him threatening somebody on tape then that's even more trouble."

My thoughts swam with different scenarios, the ultimate one being where Kendall went to jail and we all lived happily ever after. Though, rarely in life is there a happy ending and I couldn't help the negative thoughts creep in like that.

Thomas interrupted my thoughts with a wave in front of my face. "You in there?" I nodded, sipping my drink and raising an eyebrow for him to repeat or continue what he was saying.

"I was asking where that weirdo was at anyways? He hasn't left you alone at all, I'm surprised we were even able to meet up today."

I shrugged my shoulders. "He needed to go somewhere and was going to bring me with him but I convinced him that I needed to go out with Rebekah, that she had started to ask questions about us being together so much and that she would figure things out if I didn't put things to rest with her. Pretty simple actually."

Thomas shook his head while laughing. "I can't figure out if this guy is an idiot or just very oblivious, either way I'm glad that you are doing alright and that we can get things figured out. I've come to care a lot about you Quinn, I'd had to see something happen and leave Jaxon to boohoo on my shoulder. I'm not that much of sap."

Jaxon pushed Thomas on his shoulder before throwing his arm over mine and pulling me closer to him, leaning down to whisper in my ear, though saying it loud enough for Thomas to hear either way. "Look at that, our boy's growing up and catching feelings."

I laughed as Thomas scrunched up his face. "Who would have thought that would ever happen?" I sarcastically remarked, causing our table to laugh together before I pushed my chair out and stood up.
