Alright, trying out a new perspective! Hope you guys enjoy!Thomas POV
Watching Jaxon and Quinn out on the dance floor was entertaining enough, they both had to be drunk and I couldn't help but chuckle at their shameless dancing. Jaxon was definitely a lucky guy but I wasn't upset, just getting to know Quinn as a friend was enough for me, they definitely deserved each other.
It was like watching two puzzle pieces fit together perfectly. Who knew that my best friend could be such a romantic, that guy's had a rough past when it comes to girls but just like puzzle pieces you had to fit different ones together until you find the right piece.
Suddenly, my thoughts were interrupted as Jaxon clapped a hand on my shoulder and I glanced up, looking at his glossed eyes. "Yo, why are you just sitting on this counter doing absolutely nothing?" I shook my head at his slightly slurred words and stood up straighter so I was level with him.
"I'm just relaxing, where'd Quinn go?" Normally they had been attached at the hip but now she was nowhere to be seen. Jaxon's eyes widened as he glanced around but then sighed as if he had just remembered something. "She said she was going to the bathroom." He paused to chug back the rest of his drink. "I should probably do the same thing." I looked at my wobbly friend and pointed at the back door.
"There's been a line at the bathroom for a while, I would go outside if I were you." Jaxon nodded and turned around, making his way out into the woods in the backyard. They were lucky I was being the designated driver tonight because by the looks of it, they were both far gone.
After a few minutes I walked outside, looking for Jaxon but not finding him anywhere. "Where in the world did that drunk idiot go." I muttered to myself as I went back into the house only to see him back on the dance floor, dancing like he probably shouldn't be dancing anymore. My eyebrow's furrowed as I noticed a brunette in place of Quinn, her hands pawing all over Jaxon's chest. That man is going to get his sack cut off by Quinn if she saw this. Where was Quinn?
I glanced over the crowd, looking for the familiar blonde that I had come to look at as a little sister. My body worked through the crowd to the kitchen and the living room, stopping when I saw her friend that she had come here with. "Bekah right?" The girl turned and grinned up at me.
"That's me!" Her face was flushed and I could tell she had been drinking just as much as everyone else.
"Have you seen Quinn anywhere?" Bekah shook her head but reached into her back pocket and pulled out a red card, stuffing it into my front pocket.
"I haven't seen her but see me in the penalty box sometime!" I rolled my eyes, stifling a laugh at her words, no wonder she was dressed like a referee.
Walking back towards the bathroom I noticed the line still long and stopped next to the first person in line. "Hey, is there a blonde in there that went before you?" The girl shook her head no and my heart skipped slightly, knots slowly forming in my stomach. After walking into Quinn the other day at her house and seeing her broken down, I couldn't help but feel like there was something amiss.
I started opening doors left and right, looking in the different bedrooms, interrupting some heated sessions but uncaring as I continued to look for her. My hand stopped on a door that was locked and I placed my ear to the door. After no noise I knocked once and a voice finally spoke from inside. "Go away, we're busy in here."
My stomach churned and I banged on the door harder. "I'm just looking for a friend! Open the door so I can make sure she's not in there and then you can go about your business!"
